Introducing the newest icon in the King color palette: Jade.
It’s green, but it’s a lot more than just green. It has a curious depth. The finish is matte, but still Jade glows. It has an iridescence, a liveliness that’s hard to pin down, as though every time you look at it, it’s slightly different.
Of course, Jade comes from the earth. You can dig it right out of the ground, and humans have been doing that for millennia, from Japan to Peru and most places in between. Royalty(obvious pun here) has always valued Jade.

When Jackson Goldstone won the World Championship title, we had to do something special to celebrate - To add a cherry on top of the delicious sundae that is his new @santacruzbicycles V10, we asked our friends at @blackmagicpaint to do some one-of-a-kind 🌈 paintwork with a set of our hubs, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! The hubs turned out beautifully and the bike looks incredible. We’re beyond stoked to see how it all came together.

At Chris King, we design and make our own bearings in-house. They are the foundation of everything we sell, and producing them ourselves gives us full control over the entire process to manufacture bearings that are purpose-built for use in our components. This allows us to design products that not only perform better but also have greater longevity. Every single Chris King bearing is inspected and assembled by hand.
Unlike common radial bearings, we build sealed angular-contact bearings that allow for adjustment as they are used. Rather than wear out, our bearings wear in; like a fine wine or a quality guitar, they get better (and faster) with age.
