#teampixel snaps from @jlin7 next gen camp. the top aapi hoopers in the country came together to train with, learn from, and share stories of their journeys with jeremy. as an often overlooked group in sports, aapi athletes have their own obstacles to overcome and grow through both on and off the court, physically and mentally. this camp was for jeremy to share his knowledge, lessons learned, and years of experience with the athletes to help give them the support he didn't have as he was coming up on his own. the camp's mission- to develop the next generation of aapi leaders, athletes, and change makers; creating community and connection among them. to build a sustainable pipeline for aapi athletes, give them tools to grow on and off the court, and build cultural visibility for a group that's often overlooked in sports. i was proud to be part of the media team put together by @jlin.brand and @potoprojects to help capture year 1 of this special camp. seeing the athletes trauma bond over fly wheel torture, seeing them soak up knowledge from jeremy, all the tiktok dances, how they competed on the court and put on some insane highlight plays was inspiring and made a fan of me for all of them, and i wish them all the success in their budding careers ✨🏀 maxed out on tags 😅 s/o to these teams without which the camp couldn't be what it was @amaznhq @progressivemotionpt @teamesface 🙌🏼👊🏼💪🏼 📸 @googlepixel @teampixel #aapi #jeremylin #jlincamp #aapiathletes #jlinnextgen

This season’s cover artist, Kim Ly, walks us through her creative process in designing the Season 2 art — a piece that visually ties back to Season 1 while capturing the darker, more urgent themes of this new chapter. Here’s what @lyframes shared about the process: “During the early stages, we were quite interested in making this one a nighttime scene to contrast last season’s happier and brighter daytime. However, it almost felt too dark and ominous, especially with the large fires that I added. The yellows, greens, oranges and blacks from last season’s cover remain present. However, this time, the houses are all black — shrouded in a darkness filled with uncertainty. Additionally, instead of seeing the sun in the horizon, this time, there’s a fire that’s starting to scale the power lines. However, not all hope is lost; the grass remains green, some houses still have their lights on and the sun still remains high in the sky. Also, to really drill in the idea of a micro-grid community, there’s also a power cord running through the solar panels, which connects all of the houses together.” Excited to know more? 5 days until launch! It’s bigger than basketball. Shoutout to every athlete who stepped into the gym this weekend—not just to compete, but to represent. This wasn’t just a combine. It was a space to celebrate Asian heritage through the game we all love. Cheers to those hoopers who go unnoticed yet remain undeniable 🫡 2025 TAT x AMAZN HQ COMBINE April 5–6, 2025 Just the beginning.
