🦵 Single Leg Stability ✨Single leg stability isn’t just about balance… it’s about owning deceleration, controlling force, and teaching your body how to absorb load efficiently. 🌟Today’s session focused heavily on hop + stick plyometric variations to challenge hip stability, trunk control, and reactive strength in multiple planes. The goal wasn’t just jumping harder — it was learning how to land better. But before we earned the plyometrics, we built the foundation first: ✅ Improving end range hip extension ✅ Restoring upper trunk dissociation ✅ Creating better rib cage + pelvis control ✅ Owning movement before adding speed ☝️Too many people skip straight to “athletic” drills without having the mobility or control to support them. Better hip extension gives you access to propulsion. Better trunk dissociation gives you options for rotation, control, and force transfer. Then we layer speed and deceleration qualities on top. 🧱And here’s the reality… not every rep looked perfect. That’s the point. ⚖️If you’re never losing balance, missing a landing, or having to reset you’re probably staying in a comfort zone that isn’t forcing adaptation. Learning lives in the reps that challenge you. ♾️Fail. Adjust. Reorganize. Repeat. 🧠The nervous system learns through variability and exposure, not perfection. Keep stacking quality days. 📈
