Happy International Women’s Day! ⚽️❤️ Going For Greatness is a short poetic film celebrating the many roles, personalities and strengths that shape a football team. Made with coach Estelle Randall and the players at @b2a_fc , we set out to capture something true to the girls’ game and the many ways greatness shows up on the pitch. We filmed across football camps led by Estelle, capturing moments as they unfolded and curating scenes where we could. The poem was inspired by my own witnessing of the girls’ game here in Bristol and is voiced by one of the players herself. When Estelle started B2A FC, the aim was to create a space where girls could experience full wraparound support to develop and reach their potential. Seeing where some of these players are now is incredible, with many taking their next steps into ETC and academy set-ups. B2A has built something really special for girls’ football in Bristol and it felt right that this story came from there. Excited to share the full visual for Evolve by @scalerband , featuring @iamtxn_ 🧿📽️ Scaler has always put live audio-visuals at the forefront of their music and performances. For this piece, we wanted that same energy to exist in visualiser form. Set in a dystopian-like world, the visuals don’t just surround Tlya, they begin to shape her. As the track builds, she becomes increasingly intertwined with these evolving forms, her identity emerging through shifting landscapes of fire, water, shadow and abstraction. Her figure is reshaped, blurred and reborn within them, creating a hypnotic journey of transformation. Refreshing to let go of control and watch the visuals unfold so organically, amplifying their connection to the track. Huge love to the talented team that made it possible!
