Push and Pull｜One of Its Luxurious Wishes
This move looked almost impossible.
A idea flashed through my mind, and I was so excited shared it with dancers.
The dancers’ first reaction was: “How could this be possible?”
During the attempts, both Lulu and Shin struggled with fear.
At the moment of flying and spinning, hesitation made them fall.
But with confidence, logic, and method, imperfections can always be overcome.
(I never tried it myself, but they are the company’s finest dancers.)
I kept reminding them:
“Jump, hold for half a second.
Turn your head to find direction. Stretch your legs, cross the left in front of the right, don’t bend. Then you will land safely.”
Thanks to their trust,
every luxurious “impossible” in this work has come true.

推拉｜其中一個奢華的願望
這個動作，看起來真的很難。 只要腦中一閃而過的一個想法，總是開心和激動分享給舞者。
他們的第一反應是：「這怎麼可能？」
嘗試的過程裡，瀅潔和欣潔都有心魔。飛起、空轉時會退縮，結果就是摔下來。
但自信、邏輯和方法，總會帶我們跨過不完美。 我一直提醒他們(雖然我沒有嘗試，我也不敢飛，但他們都是舞團最優秀的舞者)： 「跳起來，停半秒； 收手轉圈時轉頭、找方向； 腳伸直，左腳扣在右腳前，別彎腳。 然後，你就能安全落地。」
謝謝舞者的相信與一次次嘗試， 讓作品裡每一個奢華的「不可能」成真。

六月再次跟大家分享一個好消息！我們在德國最具歷史與指標性的「漢諾威國際編舞大賽」中，從 56 個國家、超過 400 件作品中脫穎而出！
榮獲—— 🏆 首獎 Tanja Liedtke Award 🏆 觀眾票選獎 Audience Choice Award 💰 獎金近百萬新臺幣！
繼上週橫掃荷蘭 RIDCC 四項大獎、並且編舞家賴翃中成為首位將與NDT合作的臺灣編舞家之後，翃舞製作再次以臺灣之名，打開歐洲的當代舞蹈之門。

五位評審來自歐洲頂尖舞團與國際舞蹈節，在舞團經營、當代表演、藝術策展與文化推動領域具有關鍵地位，他們一致選出《推拉》，代表這部來自臺灣的作品，走進歐洲當代舞蹈的核心。
#《推拉》的身體語言來自這座島嶼 賴翃中編舞，盧瀅潔與李冠霖演出， 這是一部源自臺灣家庭與社會觀察的作品， 從板塊推拉的地理意象出發，辯證「力量與退讓」的動力學與哲學。
它不是高聲疾呼，而是用最深沉的靜默、最敏銳的動作，說出來自這座島嶼的內在張力與堅定溫柔。
#從這裡起步，我們再度回到高峰 2017年，《守》在漢諾威奪得第三獎與評論獎；2018年，《BIRDY》再獲第三獎。八年後，《推拉》站上最高峰。

🥇Hung Dance wins top prize in Germany!
“Push and Pull” by our Artistic Director LAI Hung-chung has won First Prize (Tanja Liedtke Award) and the Audience Choice Award at the Choreography Competition Hannover — chosen from over 400 works across 56 countries.
This is one of HUNG DANCE’s strongest recognition yet in Europe, following last week’s four partner awards at RIDCC.
The jury included leaders from Staatsballett Hannover, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Tanztheater Braunschweig, Club Guy & Roni, and TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL, Hannover.
Rooted in Taiwan’s social landscape, “Push and Pull” reflects the dynamics of tension and release with quiet power.
