Everyone at LowFlo wants to give a huge shoutout and congratulations to LowFlo member @lucychillingworth_ for completing her first ever solo Hyrox!
Having done multiple pairs races before, it was time for Lucy to give this epic race a go as an individual competitor.
LowFlo Founder @tom.lowe_ was one of the MC's for the day, which meant he could bark away and provide that up close motivation 😅🫶. It was also so great to see the amazing support from fiancé and fellow LowFlo member @josh_schaffer2 and a surprise visit from her brother @ben_chillingworth to top it all off❤️.

🚨 The LowFlo team & communtiy have a huge smile on their faces announcing this one: 🚨
LowFlo's Member of the Year 2025 is: @kezia_sh 🫶 🎉 💪.
Joining on September 26th 2024, LowFlo was only a few weeks old. This legend walked through the doors and has been an absolute ray of sunshine, emitting positive vibes throughout the space on a weekly basis. Coming up shortly to her 165th class, Kezia has fully embraced the training methodology and ethos that LowFlo brings to Golders Green.
However what makes this post even more poignant, is Kezia hasn't had a an easy past and has very much had to face adversity smack bang in the middle of the face and say GET OUT OF MY WAY 😤.
Six years ago after being unwell with ulcerative colitis for a few years, she had surgery to remove her colon and get a stoma bag. This is often something that you cannot see from the outside looking in and if you ever meet Kezia unless you speak to her about it, you would never know. Not once do you hear negative talk, or "why me", Kezia has decided to accept what has happened and does not let it stop her enjoying life to the fullest.
A few words from Kezia: "This is the first time since then that I’ve felt confident to exercise safely and get fit. Thank you so much to Tom, Shelli and the LowFlo team for all your encouragement, support and great energy. I love being a part of this amazing community 🫶🏼"
Well @kezia_sh THANK YOU! For being an absolute ray of light and always putting that front foot forward. We are so incredibly proud of you, an inspiration to us all and we are very much looking forward for year 2 together 💪 🚀.

@lowflouk TURNS 1 YEAR OLD TODAY 🎉🤯🥹!
Now this actually feels pretty surreal here writing this post, there's been a lot of reflecting over the last few days. I genuinely cannot believe this day has come.
On Saturday, after LowFlo in the park & unbeknown to me, Shelli, Misha, Americo, Amelia & the LowFlo community had been plotting and planning for weeks to surprise me back at the gym. They literally had a full blown separate WhatsApp group going called "Don't Tell Tom" 😂. Now usually I clock onto these things straight away, but this time I had absolutely no clue. It was at this moment watching all the amazing videos and messages from everyone I had realised that what I had dreamt about for so long had actually came true. (slide 2)
We have created a safe space, where people from all walks of life turn up daily to become fitter, stronger, more mobile and most importantly look after their mental health in the process. A REAL community has been built here, some of my most favourite moments are when I'm waiting on the front desk before a class listening to the members chatting away and having a catch up. Friendships have been formed and lives are changing for the better over time. The power of fitness is truly something special 🫶.

• All the amazing classes we have run whether that be our main Strength and Sculpt classes, Yoga, Matt Pilates and our run clubs.

We have created a concept that has never been done before, but now we have the proof.. if you come to LowFlo consistently, you WILL see incredible results and your body and mind will thank you for it 💪 🧠.

We are thrilled to announce our LowFlo Members of the Month for June and July: Lucy and Josh!
These two always bring such amazing energy to every session, walking through the door with big smiles, rain or shine.
Lucy has had an incredible year, completing the London Marathon and competing in five HYROX competitions since October 2024, going from strength to strength each time.
Josh’s journey is just as inspiring, he’s gone from, in his own words, “not enjoying training at all” to now attending 4-5+ times a week and (dare we say it) really enjoying it! Both are on unlimited memberships and make the most of every opportunity, often giving the mobility, restore, and fitness race simulation classes a go on top of their Strength and Sculpt sessions.
Both have seen awesome progressions in their muscular strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity, a testament to their dedication and consistency.
The best part? Josh is now set to take on the HYROX relay in December with Lucy, right after Lucy completes her individual attempt! We couldn’t be prouder of this power couple and can’t wait to see them smash the rest of the year. The whole LowFlo team will be right by their side, cheering them on.
