⭐️⭐️sizing info⭐️⭐️
This piece is meant to have positive ease at the bust, and can be made to fit snugly at the waist (as shown in these pics)! I know 3 sizes doesn’t look like much, but it should fit up to a ~60in bust. Please check out some of the sizing mods at the end of the pattern to figure out your ideal fit (and I can answer qs in the comments). For example, if your waist is bigger than 39in, just make your ribbing with a bigger needle (eg only size down to 5mm) !!
I’m really looking forward to releasing another proper garment pattern soon but I hope this free one will tide you over for a while. very fun to practice writing, filming and editing for this xxxxx

I had something so similar to this in 2011! but in turquoise and white …
this is mostly my handspun merino and tussah silk, with some really sweet vintage angora I picked up the other week at @reversegarbage
the pattern is graded for two versions, one for 4mm needles and the other for an extra drapey 6mm ! and then a nice size spread between 80 and 155cm hip for now 🙇♀️
just need to make some progress on this next sample but keep your eyes peeled for a test call xoxox

unsure if I should add little sleeves! I think it would look better the right way up but idk what I would do with them when wearing upside down. either way will add some little buttons so that it can be a turtleneck too

another welt top for you ! this is a size 1 made with 10 rounds of ‘waist ribbing’ 🧚♀️ (normally this would fit longline and would flare out at the low hip)

basically just made my classic microshort shape and then attached tubes with darts, cotton/elastane blend from @achievesewingbasket 💙💙💙
