I made this design for their Gemini season release, its celebrates high-contrast color and fun color combinations. When I was invited to this collaboration and learned about the theme, I made several sketches for different ideas. In the end we decided on this one and I'm very happy with the decision. This design includes all the zodiac signs, so there's something for everyone. The ornate border and the pointed ends gives the scarf a feminine touch.🥰
I chose the colors Abyss and Ninja Turtle for this design, in their dasching fingering base.
Since I can never say no to green and blue, my decision wasn't difficult🤭.

A prawn cocktail Tunisian Crochet checkerboard, made using delicious Shrimp and Cucumber ;—) 🦐🥒
This method involves making long strips of alternating colours in the classic Tunisian simple stitch. Once the desired length is reached, simply rejoin back at the bottom and off you go again! The result is quite a thick checkerboard fabric, with clear squares and clean joins. Carry your yarn up the back as you go for minimal stitching in of ends...

Ninja Turtle and Abyss in two-tone half brioche 💙💚
Now this is a combo that you can’t take your eyes from. We put it to the test in the two-tone half brioche stitch, the double sided feature of it a perfect moment for each colour to shine. The dark and moody blue of the Abyss finds a great match in Ninja Turtle, the neon green as if a speckle picked up from the depths of Abyss and brought to surface.

Merida and Reverence in the chain stitch ⛓️
The sculptural chain stitch uses slip stitches and garter stitch pattern to create these 3D colourwork details on your fabric. The blues, purples and pinks in the variegated Reverence and the orange speckled Merida hold each other comfortably in these stitches, letting each other shine when it is their turn.
