This project is highly experimental for many reasons and finding the right business partners to bring it to life isn’t straight forward, but the wheels are in motion and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us! ✨
My work is driven by the belief that fashion can thrive with nature and that the industry must find new farm-forward business models, it shouldn’t be too much to ask to an industry that was born from and for creativity…

Meet Gloria, the founder of @wovenbeyond - a purpose-led regenerative fashion and textile business rethinking how sustainable knitwear and wool fibres are sourced, made, and connected to the land.
Launched in 2019 after 15 years in the luxury fashion industry, Gloria’s journey began with a shift in perspective - becoming a mother, questioning industry systems, and recognising the need for a more responsible approach to fashion sustainability and textile innovation.
What started as a personal reflection at the kitchen table has grown into a regenerative fashion business, working closely with farmers, makers, and industry partners to reconnect fibre, land, and design 🌱
Through Grow London Local, Gloria accessed support through @digitalboost.org.uk and Funding London to receive one-to-one consultancy support that helped strengthen her mindset, develop a marketing strategy, and build confidence during her transition from corporate fashion to self-employment 🙌

We had a go at hand dyeing our natural yarns with avocado 🥑, just an easy one to test as we eat avocado quite regularly.
We love the pink shade that has come out of this experiment 🥰👌🏼!
The beauty of a plant fibre and and animal fibre blend, Himalaya nettle and French Merino, is that the natural dye takes vibrantly and slightly differently on the two types of fibre, resulting in a unique colour depth.
