Hi I’m Liz Cooper and my brand new album 𝓝𝓮𝔀 𝓓𝓪𝔂 is out now. This is the first record I’ve released since 2021 and I didn’t mean to wait this long. I’m releasing these 10 extremely personal and special songs as a self managed, independent artist under my label I started ten years ago named, Sleepyhead Records. These songs encapsulate the past 6 or so years: I moved to Brooklyn, the pandemic happened, I fell in love with someone who didn’t want me but who wouldn’t let me go, I came out, I stood up for myself and protected my mind, heart and art, I fell in love with someone who loves me back and so much more- you’ll have to listen. I felt pretty hopeless while living through the making of this record but I’m still here and I’m still going and I don’t plan on stopping. Why? Because it’s a New Day. I can easily get caught up in the dark stuff but I want the light. I wanna see the good and I want to connect with my community and my fans. There are so many people to thank who support my vision and who have my back and I want to thank them and you from the bottom of my heart. ♥️
