For those who don’t know me I’m a very privileged man, husband to Katy Leckie, dad to 4 amazing kids. And a photographer…yes, that’s a privilege! I want to thank FujiFilm (Gordon, Denise, Eve and Rhiannon) and Trekstock (Sophie and team) for asking me to be part of this project. And thanks to my crew as well. Cancer hasn’t touched me physically but its effects have. A family member is only recently recouping from a bone marrow transplant and others still receiving treatment. Some of my closest friends have had breast cancer. What I met in the studio downstairs on the 19th November last year was people. Fab people. Stylish people. Funny people. uk garage people - looking at you @physiobeatsc Just people but people who’ve been through a lot. Im scared to talk to someone who’s not doing well, or is suffering. I’m sure Trekstock and people like these wonderful folk would help me do that. Support from beginning, middle and after treatment is so so important.
