My chemo veins do not make me feel sad but they gently remind me of the chapter I had to be my strongest fighter-self. 3 years on and the chemo veins are not going anywhere. So neither will my spirit, strength and belief in myself. If I could beat cancer, then I can do anything ✨️❤️✨️ So can you ❤️ #chemosideeffects #chemo #cancersurvivor #portacath #breastcancer

Face and neck lymph drainage and lymph massage. Remember keep the massage very light brush strokes on the skin. This is great if you notice swelling that is not going from certain areas around the face after lymph node removal or other surgery. Remember: ✨️ Drainage towards the nodes ✨️ Use light pressure ✨️ If you have more pain then you must speak to your medical team #lymphnodes #lymphoedema #lymphaticdrainagemassage #cancer #recoveryjourney

Arm lymph drainage massage. Have you got lymph oedema and not sure where to start with massage? Here's some of the techniques I used after my partial lymph node removal. ✨️ Keep pressure light ✨️ Massage strokes gentle and slow ✨️ Drainage is towards to the area of nodes ✨️ Any pain - go speak to your medical team Remember we are all different, what works for one may not work for another, so you may have to try a few things to know what your body needs. #cording #lymphdrainage #lymphnodes #lymphmassage #lymph

All I wanted was my hair back after chemo. Strong, healthy, no junk. It was hard to trust brands as many had adulterated ingredients. So my sister, @hairbykiri and I made our own. ✨ We used her hairdressing knowledge and my science background to create our own blended oils to help get my hair growth and shine back after losing it all. You can purchase via 🛍️ . . . . #hairoil #chemohair #hairgrowth #scalpoiling #hairoiling

These stats can be totally avoided. How? Check yourselves ladies (and men!). Its not that hard and its not a taboo, it could save your life or your loved one ❤️ #southasian #health #cancer #cancersurvivor #breastcancerawareness🎀

Time to sort our own outcomes. As a British south asian woman, it take 2.5 more visits than white women to get a diagnosis when it comes to cancer. This is simply not good enough and things need change. We need to level up our health outcomes. #checkyourself #cancersurvivor #BreastCancerAwareness #southasian #health

Normalise cancer talk. Without talking we cannot advocate. If we cannot advocate we will not improve our health outcomes. Whats holding you back from talking about body changes? #cancersupport #cancer #healthmatters #cancerrecovery #southasian

How I stretch my radio chest. Cancer treatment leaves marks you cannot see and chest tightness is one thing I have to keep working on as a very fit and physical person. Radiotherapy makes collagen stiffer and feels particularly worse if I've used the muscles a lot. Here's my basic stretches to help with my chest mobility. #radiotherapy #radiotherapysideeffects #cancersurvivor #breastcancersurvivor #lifeaftercancer

Lymph drainage 5 minute break meant I could do some drainage work. Pretty easy and safe to do but if you're copying me, always start off gently. This is a great way to get your whole body lymph vessels awake as well as a little head start on movement before the day begins #lymphaticdrainage #lymphnoderemoval #lymphexercise #cancersurvivor #lymphoedema

Four years since everything changed. Healing hasn’t been linear, but I had to remind myself today I got there. Save this for the days you need reminding that things will get easier ♥️ #cancersurvivor #healingisntastraightline #chemorecovery #breastcancerrecovery #cancerrecovery
