Across residency 2025 Exhibition - A good Place ‚Place holders‘ - @chambresdamies For this exhibition I invited all the friends I collaborated with in the past 4 years - ‚Les ami.e.s‘ of chambresdamies - to contribute to a first placeholder. Each Across participant contributes a chair to a second placeholder. Textile systems imagine a common connection. I am interested in how temporality can shape a place, not defining that place but leaving room for change and adaptation. In this context, I see architecture not as fixed answers, but as placeholders: structures, objects or moments that show potential. The D’Ieteren building, which will be renovated and could possibly provide a permanent place for temporality and experiment, provided the perfect backdrop to explore this. thank you ami.e.s @zoevanderpas @devosleendert @mk_ballislife @lisa.jans.sens @maximeprananto @lululu.lucien @padme.official @vkmarie thank you @vlaams_architectuurinstituut @aplusarchitectureinbelgium @ica.wb @pauline.fockedey @demeyertheo @derive.practice.eu @eelilizz @acme.image @voor.als.nog @variable.ooo @ouvrages.be @esque.info pictures thank you @illiggram

handled with care curtain installation with @lululu.lucien for @bx.livefestival :) aligning with the exhibition that @spillthetea.bxl made for the festival, which centered around 5 stages of grief, the curtain installation morphed into 5 different shapes over the course of the festival. pictures by @illiggram merci @bx.livefestival @margotquixotic :)
