The beginning of Dansmånaden i Ronneby. 🌒During the Blekinge dance residency, Max Wallmeier and Lisa Colette Bysheim will work on their upcoming piece “Smooth Oscillator” — a dynamic, speculative universe where time flows differently, bodies transform into landscapes, and the boundaries between reality and fiction constantly shift.

⚒️Blue Carousel ⚒️ I’ve performed this work many times now, and still, it keeps undoing me. The way it responds to space, to tension, to who’s watching — it’s never fixed. That’s what I love about it! 💫 On July 1st, we performed at amazing @fuoriformato_festival in Italy, in an intimate and alternative space. The closeness with the audience made it feel electric — raw, honest, and very special. 🇮🇹✨ Next stop: @mpc_sanvincenti in magical Croatia — we perform tomorrow night and I can’t wait to see how the piece evolves again. 🎭🌊 Grateful to be touring it with @edithaskeland @theami @miriammichelsen_ @elhegre @mageplask — artists who carry the work with so much care, guts, and precision. #AerowavesIntroduces: #AerowavesArtists Lisa Colette Bysheim @lisa.c & Katrine Patry @katrinepatry with ‘Blue Carusel’ which they will present at #SpringForward25 in Gorizia/Nova Gorica in April. Lisa Colette Bysheim (NO) and Katrine Patry (CA) have collaborated since 2018. They are particularly interested in using humour to dissolve preconceived ideas. Working with the ‘spectacle’ as a tool to explore underlying themes of objectification, human behaviour and socially constructed expectations, they aim to question and play with the nuances in power relations. ‘If This | Then’ is an immersive sound experience, a fusion of voice and movement, where the three dancers Antonia Harke, Emilie Marie Karlsen, Magdalene Solli play with the unfinished, unresolved, and undigested. The dancers and Bysheim have worked on accumulating material through improvisation and playing with structures and habits engrained in language, the internal conversations in ones mind and transformations of meaning through repetition and associations. If This | Then’ questions it’s own accumulated non-sense through a choreography of layered samples from open improvisations and exercises relating to language.
