( Shift ) is a font family consisting of 4 pairs of roman + italic, ranging from sans to serif and from medium to light weight. Starting from the notion of voice and idea of conversation between different typestyles, ( Shift ) is a play of distance and proximity, a negotiation of agreement and disagreement. Interconnections between the sans and the serif put each style into context with each other, creating moments of variation and crossover in feel, construction and proportions.
