Ahead of the book launch later this month, we thought it was about time we introduced ourselves...
Hannah is a photographer with a natural instinct for people and places. Originally from Scotland, she made the move from London to Suffolk and now lives in a small village with her family. After years of living abroad and moving around, that sense of arriving somewhere new, of getting to know people and taking things in, sits at the heart of her work.
Suffolk: A Story Told Through Food, Drink and People was shaped as much by Hannah’s presence as her photographs. Never standing on the sidelines, Her confidence and warmth helped put people at ease, allowing conversations to unfold and moments to reveal themselves naturally. Often working away in the background, she spent long stretches in kitchens, vineyards, bakeries and bars, sharing time rather than directing it.
Over the course of the year, Hannah built relationships with the people featured in this book. Her images reflect that perspective, focusing on atmosphere, process and the human detail that surrounds the food and drink venues featured.
Hannah's role extended far beyond just the photographs. She has led in all things creative, including the cover design and layout of the pages. This book is as much hers as it is Adam’s, told through her lens, alongside his words.

We had our first @suffolkstory outing (and first ever market) at @wavymarkets yesterday, What an amazing experience! Although I spent most of my 20’s in and out of trade shows, it felt completely different talking about your own projects and something you’ve been passionate about making happen!
Everyone who came by shared their own version of Suffolk Story, from go-to restaurants, favourite dishes and most-loved Suffolk spots to a wider appreciation of the area we live in. It was lovely to meet everybody and it’s safe to say that we’ve got a few new places to explore now.
What a fun way to spend a Sunday and thanks again to everyone who came by ☺️

We still have some availability this Friday evening, along with a couple of tables remaining for our 8:30pm sitting on Saturday.
The kitchen is full of fantastic spring produce right now, and we’d love to share it with you.

We've had such a crazy week since launch, luckily I booked time off from my actual job as I've lost track of the amount of books I've packed up to send out (a very nice challenge to have!).
Two other highlights of the week are both down to @velvetmag
One of our biggest fans (my mum) was first to spot and send me a picture of our write up in this month's Velvet Magazine. A whole page all about our book was quite surreal to see and it couldn't have come at a better time-just as we officially launched the book. You can also read our full interview with Alice from Velvet on their website...go check it out!

On the same day, the 2026 Velvet awards finalists were announced, and we found out we'd made the shortlist in the Food & Drink Hero of the Year category. Another surreal moment and one that capped off an amazing week. It's also amazing to be alongside some of the people in the book (not the same category!), Including:

Can't wait to celebrate with everyone at the awards in June!

The table fills.
The nibbles arrive all at once.
The celebration begins.
For me, this is when Lark truly comes alive.
The Parmesan Fougasse made with Delize del Fornese from @boni.spa is like eating a cloud made of cheese.
The Ibérico coppa from @bascofinefoods melts gently on the tongue.
Our cod’s roe dip, made with smoked roe from @pinneysoforford , brings a deep, savoury richness to the table.
And the rabbit croquettes?
A bite-sized nod to our rabbit pie — once praised by Jay Rayner.
Our Third Anniversary Menu is available for one month only, until 14th March.
Reservations now open.
