#Repost • @chasegilroy How we made the @nanlite_global video using tube lights all DMX chained together triggered by @alesis_gear electronic drums programmed with @lightjams Obv you have to chain all the light fixtures together and have a DMX interface to get all that into your comp. You just need anything that takes that and uses ARTnet. The creative process was heavily dependent on my pushing @slimstickman to learn the software and try new things. Making all this happens was a team effort so S/O to @photobrigade for helping us get the lights, @tuckergilkerson for the drums, and @videobychris for helping connect all these dots together. Now we just need more lights to create something even cooler! #Repost • @djdamienpaul I’m excited to announce that I’ll have my Crystalline Entities interactive exhibit on display at Boston Children’s Museum for the next several weeks. This installation originally debuted as a part of BCM’s CreatedBy Festival in October of 2022. The interactive exhibit features 24 LED sculptures that can be controlled by the viewer using an infrared sensor that tracks hand positions. The X and Y position of the hand determine which crystals light up, while the Z (height) of the hand controls how large the effected area is. The direction of the user’s fingertips determine the color of the effect. When activated, each crystal plays a unique resonant note, creating a sound effect akin to wind chimes. This exhibit was programmed using a combination of @touchdesigner and @lightjams software. If you have little ones in your life, now is a great time to bring them down to the museum to see this and enjoy the rest of their Festival of Light exhibits! . #artinstallation #interactiveart #touchdesigner #lightjams

This one defenitly did.. Driven by passion and desire to set foot where no one has wondered before, we we’re thrilled when Boris and Chris approached us with this idea. A circular stage design using 400 led bars for @straf_werk . It wasn’t supposed to be a completely custom work at first, but we did it anyway. The first renders were made and sent to @cowboykel . His excitment gave us the jump-start to take a chance and create the system. We've transformed the Elektra stage in a truely neo-futurist cathedral. This has again raised the bar, as this is the biggest installation to date that we've created using our custom system. We are very proud of everyone who is helping us to create these pieces. It is an absolute team effort in terms of planning, building, designing, engineering, managing and programming.
