Tomorrow 26/03, special Uncloud Radio with Victor Bontje. Tune in from 20:00 to 21:00 on Stranded fm 💫 Victor Bontje, sound designer and DJ/composer of spatial music, will perform a quadraphonic radio set exploring the intersections of sound, space, and immersive technology. Using a conventional DJ setup, the performance experiments with spatial sound presentation and sonic landscaping, blending new and old quadraphonic compositions through SQ matrix encoding to create a quadraphonic soundscape. Listening instructions (quadraphonic): This set is SQ-encoded and can be experienced in quadraphonic sound both live and afterwards. For the full spatial experience, use a hardware SQ decoder, an Involve Audio decoder, or decode the signal in software via Quark. Without decoding, the set will play in stereo, but with a decoder the full spatial sound field unfolds. The hardware and the software links are in the linktree in our bio!

Amor Fati, by @near.stoic , is out on Uncloud Editions! The nine-track album, releasing as UE002, is an eclectic adventure through the spectrum of electronic music but also an exploration of a profound shift in the artist's relationship with the sensation of feeling. The album is an ode to love in all its forms: the intoxicating uncertainty of romance, the unwavering devotion of family, the power of new friendships and the complex beauty found in accepting life's inevitable losses. It is a meditation on presence, grief, and the courage required to feel deeply in an often overwhelming world. The release is available on limited edition splatter vinyl, digital format and as a handcast, abstract, metallic ring. Multidisciplinary artist @alinnatikhonova created a physical extension of the album’s universe, inspired by a Tunisian Machmoum, a silver-and-amber floral relic from Near Stoic’s personal memories. The abstract structure, that is casted in tin on a stainless-steel ring, serves as a physical artifact that bridges the gap between sound and sculptural art. [Artist announcement] We are glad to announce @near.stoic as the upcoming releasing artist on Uncloud Editions! Near Stoic is the alias of Tunisian, Paris-based composer and producer Skander Ben Yahia, whose work explores emotion and cinematic storytelling through ambient electronica. Merging field recordings, personal audio artifacts, and analog/digital synthesizers, Near Stoic creates immersive atmospheres for both intimate listening and multi-speaker systems. His debut Notebook (Thoughts & Short Stories) (@third_kind_records , UK, 2021) was praised as "eclectic and soothing" by Bob Fischer ( @hauntedgeneration ) on Electronic Sound, while 2023's Metamorphosis EP (@gatedrecordings , UK) expanded into more complex dreamlike soundscapes and rhythmic elements. His track "Blossom" was featured on @airtexture 's environmental compilation "Place: Tunisia," curated by @ziedmeddebhamrouni and @azu.tiwaline . Amor Fati embodies both artistic maturation and emotional vulnerability, in equal measure. The nine-track album, arriving January 30th, 2026 via Uncloud Editions, is Near Stoic’s exploration of a profound shift in his relationship with the feeling of feeling itself. The discovery that expressing love and emotion freely is not only acceptable, but beautiful and deeply human. The album's visual identity, developed by Alina Tikhonova, uses various material from Near Stoic’s life. For the album cover, she merges an old photograph from the artist's grandparents' vacation house with textures from their Tunis home wall, which she digitally recreated from pictures. These were spaces where family gathered and where many of the album's emotional foundations took root. The 12" Splatter Vinyl features a tricolour burst pattern following the album artwork's colour palette. Multidisciplinary artist Alina Tikhonova created a physical extension of the album’s universe, inspired by a Tunisian Machmoum, a silver-and-amber floral relic from Near Stoic’s personal memory. Tilburg-based Annebel aims to push the boundaries of her sound by layering harmonies and rhythms into new soundscapes when mixing her broad taste in music together into an energetic whole. Whether it is through a downtempo opening set or a high-energy closing, she aims to hold you by the hand to explore new melodies, rhythms, and genres, in mixes in which she remains well-adjusted to her environment while always staying grounded in her recognizable style.
