‘Liene Bosquê: What Still Stands’ by @lienebosque , curated by Luna Goldberg @lunagoldberg at The Wolfsonian–FIU @wolfsonian 📍1001 Washington Av, Miami Beach, FL This exhibition presents the work developed during Liene Bosquê’s 2024 creative fellowship at the museum, where she engaged directly with the collection. As The Wolfsonian’s first Creative Fellow, Bosquê created a series of cyanotypes inspired by a 20th century railing designed by French architect Hector Guimard. These textile banners are shown alongside other works from her practice that examine architectural legacy, an ongoing focus in her research and artistic exploration. 📸 1: @lienebosque and curator lunagolberg 🎥 2: Quick view of the exhibition’s installation during the opening event on April 25, 2026 📸 3: Before the Miami Design Preservation League IV (Nautilus Hotel), 2026, Vinyl 📸 4: Recollection II, 2003-26, Mixed media 📸 5: Before the Miami Design Preservation League IV (Roney Plaza Hotel), 2026, Vinyl 📸 6: Homage to Art Nouveau, Guimard I and III, 2025, Cyanotype on cotton 📸 7: Balustrade, before 1908 Hector Guimard (France, 1867-1942), designer Fonderie de Saint-Dizier, France, manufacturer Cast iron 📸 8: @lienebosque , @jennifer__inacio , and @adrianamalfitano 📸 9: List of exhibitions on view, showing Liene’s is in on the 2nd floor 📸 10: Bridge Tender House (Josephine Baker Pavilion) outside the museum 📸 11: Homage to Art Nouveau, Guimard I, 2025, Cyanotype on cotton Pic 11: Wall label outside the museum #lienebosque, #whatstillstands, #thewolfsonian, #lunagoldberg, #artseen365

#Repost @oolitearts ・・・ Congratulations to our Ellies Creator Award 2025 recipient Liene Bosquê, whose exhibition “What Still Stands” opened this week @wolfsonian What persists after buildings are lost? Drawing from her research as the first Creative Fellow at The Wolfsonian–FIU, Bosquê brings museum objects into conversation with new work, including cyanotypes shaped by sunlight and time. The exhibition reflects on architectural legacy, permanence, and the traces left behind in built spaces. Installed across the museum and the Bridge Tender House, the work also engages the site itself—its vault doors and layered history becoming part of the experience. Liene Bosquê: What Still Stands April 22–September 6, 2026 The Wolfsonian–FIU Opening Event: Saturday, April 25, 10–11:30 a.m. This project was supported through last year’s Ellies Creator Award.
