Consider this your daily dose of spring positivity, with some of our colours spotted in the wild. đŸŒ· “When choosing a colour palette for your home, I want you to step away from Pinterest for a minute, and go outside to see colour in your everyday life! Look at the sky, florals, take a walk around your local park and even your local bakery to find your next favourite colour palette.” Tash Bradley, Director of Interior Design at Lick. With only 12 days until our first bank holiday of the season, what better time to start that decorating project that’s been on your list all winter? 💬 What room makeover is next on your list?

Pick your favourite from our 2026 Colour Edit - the colours we're tipping to be the biggest next year across fashion, design and of course, your home. But, this isn't about fleeting trends. These eight timeless shades have longevity way after 2026 has been and gone, so you can decorate your home knowing if you love them now, you'll still love them then.

Look around our latest Open House, a lesson in how to create a neutral palette throughout your home, while still feeling full of character. When it came to the paint colours, White 06 and White 05 added warmth in the rooms that lacked lots of natural light, while White 01 drenched the kitchen, dining room and hallway to balance the brighter sun-drenched spaces throughout the day. The young family then used some of their favourite colours to add clever moments of colour in the downstairs WC (Green 06), bedroom wardrobes (Beige 10), son’s bedroom woodwork (Blue 02) and guest bedroom (Taupe 03). When it came to styling, mixed metals, luxurious marbles, inviting velvets and a red thread of light oak layered throughout make the spaces feel beautifully considered and fit for a busy family life. Feeling inspired? We’ve done the hard work for you so you can get the look too: - Front door, railings, gate, locks, alarm and security @banhamgroup - Wooden flooring and carpet (throughout) @floor.street - Sofa, beds, snuggle chairs and footstools (throughout) @loafhome - Kitchen cabinetry @solakitchens - Lighting and hardware (throughout) @pookylights - Bathroom sinks, baths, showers and vanity units (throughout) @lussostone - Bathroom and front garden tiles (throughout) @mandarinstoneofficial - Sliding doors and glass ceilings @enjoy_the_view_glazing Watch the full video and see all items featured on our Lick YouTube channel.

📌 Is your hallway the next home makeover on your list? Then Tash has just the thing for you! Despite typically being a darker space in your home, hallways provide the perfect opportunity to try out that bolder colour (or colours) that you’re wanting to incorporate, as we don’t spend as much time in this space. 💬 Which is your favourite out of the two colour schemes?

Pencils at the ready, we’re here to teach you a lesson. đŸ€“ While many of you may already be familiar with the red thread theory - rooted in Nordic design based on identifying a unifying ‘red thread’, whether that’s a colour, pattern, or style to seamlessly weave through every room - we’re here to show you how to easily translate this method into your home. Case in point: @hectorsplace15 ’s beautifully blended home. Whilst featuring different warm paints throughout the rooms, Ryan layered earthy ochre yellow hues across soft furnishings and curated accessories as his ‘red thread’. The result? A grounding, sun-warmed feel to his home, with a nod to retro design. Ryan featured Taupe 03 in his living room and Red 06 in his bedroom. If you’re needing extra inspo, Beige 02 and Orange 02 also work beautifully in this palette.

We’ve all been there when decorating, but it’s the rich pigments in our paint colours that make them so unique. It means you get amazing depth of colour that’s tough and scrubbable, so it doesn’t fade or go shiny when cleaning. It also means excellent coverage and a better decorating experience. We’re ready to be a part of your next home makeover. đŸ«¶

“It’s all well and good things looking nice, but if they don’t last, you’ll be spending all your time redoing them. Great paint is one of those worthy investments.” Wise words from @kitinness , who opted for Red 01 and White 05 in Lick Supreme finish for his busy hallway and kitchen. Luckily, our paints are built to stand up against everyday scrapes, spills, and everything in between, without ever compromising on the finish. 💬 What does your paint have to stand up against?

Grown up Pink 08. đŸ©· The beautiful blending of dusky and dusty with brown and yellow undertones in this earthy pink creates the ultimate calming and cocooning feel to any room. Soft yet grounded, our team loves pairing it with White 05 for a fresh, airy contrast, or layering it with Green 05 and Teal 05 to add depth and a natural, tonal balance. For a richer look, Red 06 introduces a sophisticated warmth that elevates the palette. 💬 How would you feature this colour in your home?
