Still a bit behind on the updates, will bore you with the why another time but as you know since this video was filmed we have made a call to prioritise the floor. However we are still planning worktops even if we can’t buy. The stone yard isn’t open on weekends, luckily Si gets a day off for his birthday so we are heading to one in Reading Monday so we can at least see slabs in the flesh, know what we like, then when we’ve saved enough we can get on with it quickly.

I’m a little bit behind on updates, but here are some more updates from last week on the very exciting kitchen delivery day. I can confirm things are moving along nicely and so far very pleased with how the kitchen is looking. Still lots of moving parts to juggle, working out what we can afford to do, and desperately missing my shadow Bluey, but hopefully not too much longer till the noisy work is done and she can come home.

Kitchen Delivery day!!! Well, sort of. Most of the frontages will be here in about ten days but everything that needs fitting by the guys is arriving so at least we will know if measurements are right and any disaster has been averted! Bit of a longer vlog style video today. Think it captures well the fact that life doesn’t stop when you’re doing a #renovation and vice versa. This week was quite a lot for my already overly cluttered noggin - 2 new diagnosis’ (EDS related complications) which means new medication to get into the routine, sad life events, lots of logistics/timings to get head round, trying to stay on top of work and trying to fit in seeing Bluey after almost two weeks.

But the sun was shining, I met some lovely people, got to have cuddles with Bluey, all appliances were delivered, building regs inspection went well, and the space is really coming together.
