Parris playing all night (almost always the best format) in one of my favourite spots is gonna be special I’m sure. The guests I’ve booked for the party have always reflected something of my taste, obviously. But I feel like Parris’ approach to DJing really encapsulates the party its current form and its musical approach: still rooted in house music, but influenced by an array of sounds. He’s soundtracked some of my favourite dancefloor moments of recent years: most recently a perfect mid-morning dance at @watchingtreesfestival , and with five hours to play with, we can be sure to expect the full spectrum of sounds, tempos and moods.

A house music devotee, Liam brings his knowledge and unwavering conviction to the party, to deliver those raw grooves the genre has to offer. Following his previous residency on @aajamusic , you’ll now find him hosting his latest show on @loose.fm
Since launching Handclap in 2019, Liam has built the party into a respected fixture, with routine parties at Spanners and Avalon Café, as well as a takeover at The Cause last year. With Handclap returning for its 17th edition on February 28th at Spanners, we’re thrilled to have him join us.
