Same location, similar faces, later finish.
Trusty 5000 Years resident Vince Bulge and 5KY head chef Will Silver will be kicking off proceedings before handing over to Adonis and Brama resident Seb Odyssey to steer us home.
Seb has an excellent ear for sleek, atmospheric electronic music that doesn’t lack on the low end. His quality record collection and tight mixing skills have seen him complete a residency at Space Talk, play all night long at 17 Little Portland Street and appear at festivals including Glastonbury and Dimensions alongside his residencies.
With Vince, Will & Seb at the helm, you can guarantee our return to the basement will be an epic poem.

⚠️ surprise guest announcement ⚠️
We are delighted to introduce @nts_radio ‘s finest - @darebalogun for a surprise set.
We love club music, but we might love Dare’s Highlife selections even more. When the smoke and red-lit haze of the club room gets heavy, step out into the bar and find yourself immersed in the warm, rhythmic treasures of Dare Balogun’s record collection.

🚨 lineup announcement for tomorrow 🚨
Thrilled to have @adonis.adonis.adonis and @brama______ resident Seb Odyssey @sebastian.shyam to close out proceedings tomorrow night.
Seb has an excellent ear for sleek, atmospheric dance music that doesn’t lack on the low end. His quality record collection and tight mixing skills have seen him complete a residency at Space Talk, play all night long at 17 Little Portland Street and appear at festivals lineups including Glastonbury and Dimensions.
We can’t wait to host Seb, who will bring a finely tuned selection of interlocking house and techno to the basement.
⚠️ This one may be the least surprising announcement of the party ⚠️
Hot off the back of his latest EP, aptly named 5000 years a lover, label boss and head honcho @willlsilver returns for another stint behind the booth. Afterall, It’s his party, it would honestly be weird if he didn’t play. It’s the mid to late 20s equivalent of the managers son who posses two left feet starting upfront, except this time he’s actually quite good (but if you’re reading this, you likely don’t need me to tell you that ).
Known for his uncanny ability to weave genres and styles seamlessly, and those who were lucky enough to attend last time know what to expect. Low-key lighting, a smoke machine and Will pushing the funktion one sound system to its absolute limit.
We are in for a treat.

⚠️ ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT ⚠️
Vince Bulge
A staple figure on dance floors across the country and further afield, when the elusive DJ is not front left he is in the studio working on his signature style of warm, tasteful house.
Any punters on the dancefloor know that any tune from Vince’s extensive back catalogue is sure to get the floor shaking.
There is nobody better to start the night, taxi us to the runway and guide us through the clouds next Friday night.

⚠️ tomorrows lineup announcement ⚠️
5000 Years chief @willlsilver joins the program and will see us home for tomorrow’s first edition of 5000 Years.
I’ll be completely honest, it is Will writing this post and I have absolutely no idea what to say. Promise to play nice music to make you dance. Promise I am a better DJ than digital marketer.
5000 years, now taking submissions for social media managers - we are also throwing a party in Deptford tomorrow night.

Since launching Handclap in 2019, Liam has built the party into a respected fixture, with routine parties at Spanners and Avalon Café, as well as a takeover at The Cause last year. With Handclap returning for its 17th edition on February 28th at Spanners, we’re thrilled to have him join us.

5000 Years Residents - Average DJ (black jacket and jeans) & Vince Bulge (black jacket and jeans)
These two first met on a bench outside big Tesco and went on to form a lasting friendship.
They’ve have shared countless dancefloors and occasionally have been found on the same line up, but never shared the dj booth.
Join us on 7th February for the debut B2B for these two B2B residents. You could say this pairing is 5000 years overdue.
