The Iron Snail This one was so special, such a privilege to help tell Isabella’s story with an incredible team. @isabella_day_goldsmith - thank you for letting us in to tell your story. Full circle moment for myself too since we made this for @theartofdocumentary one day doc competition and it was watching @markandrewbone ‘s Rescate that made me quit my degree and take up filmmaking. A film about friendship, light, and the slow fade of summer. Here’s my short film Afterglow, shot on the South Wales coast, in between swims, long drives, and hours of golden light. It’s taken me a while to share this one. Summer’s gone now; the evenings are shorter, the sea’s colder, but this takes me straight back. Back to that feeling of warmth and stillness, when time seemed to stretch and everything slowed down. It’s about connection and that quiet kind of freedom that only exists when the sun begins to disappear. Big thanks to everyone involved in this one!
