Thank you NYC! @theebonycanal was experienced in one of the most iconic theaters in New York City, the @ifccenter and the energy in that room was nothing short of powerful.
Gratitude to @levelforward for curating such an intentional and impactful Movies & Movements event in honor of Black Maternal Health Week. The panel featured industry icons,
@AndreaAmbam@Lady_whitehead@_iiritu_@ReginaDavisMoss that followed was filled with truth, insight, and a shared commitment to pushing this conversation forward.
A special salute to @aftershockdoc âs @Tonyalewislee and the many icons, advocates, and leaders like @pizelt@itsseanc@catmac29@iamksealsallers who showed up, poured in, and reminded us why this work matters. Be a vessel.

30 years ago some very brave people listened to V (formerly Eve Ensler) talk about vaginas in a basement. They thought they would be arrested, or worse. At that time, however, women had more bodily autonomy than they do today.
From the basement to the biggest stages, itâs time to celebrate and reclaim all things vagina - including every person who came into the world through one.
Level Forward and Roundabout Theater Company are collaborating to bring this festival of funny, poignant, and personal stories to life, presenting THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES for a 30th Anniversary run next year. Under the direction of the incomparable Noma Dumezweni, we will celebrate in the loudest, largest, boldest way.
We canât wait to enter the womb with you! â¤ď¸âđĽ

DECIDIDAS was pure magic! From the incredible conversations to the moments of laughter and reflection, it reminded us of the power of coming together as a community. We celebrated bold ideas, shared visions for change, and connected with people who are making a difference every single day.
Being in space together makes us even more excited for what comes next. This is just the beginning. đ

âWhat is it you are searching for?â
Mexico City â you are easily one of my favorite places to travel. For work. For play. For becoming.
Edgy. Raw. Elegant. Ancient. Sexy. Cool.
And yes â the food scene is đĽđĽđĽ.
To @somosdecididas â what an honor to stand with you this week. đ˛đ˝âđ˝
To the women I didnât know who waited to hug me as I walked off that stage â wow. đĽš
I see you. Your tears. Your courage.
As I remind myself on the regular: keep going.
To Adrienne at @levelforward â thank you for saying YES ⨠and producing something beautiful in just two days.
To my sisters in soul, humanity, and joy â @mslatoshabrown and @dominiquecrenn â our journey is only just beginning. đ
THIS is the journalismâŚ
The storytellingâŚ
The humanity-connecting workâŚ
I want to be part of.
