On April 19th, 1943, Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann made history. Not in a lab, but on a bicycle. Hofmann had synthesized LSD-25 five years earlier at Sandoz Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland. After accidentally absorbing a small amount through his fingertips, he got his first hint of its powerful effects. Curious, he intentionally self-administered 250 micrograms, what he thought was a conservative dose. It was actually several times the threshold amount. As the effects intensified, he asked his lab assistant to help him get home. With wartime car restrictions in place, they rode their bicycles. That ride became legendary. He described waves of visual distortions, an altered sense of time, and a profound shift in consciousness, all while pedaling through Basel. He feared he was losing his mind, but by morning he felt reborn. He would go on to call LSD his “problem child,” a substance of immense potential the world wasn’t sure how to handle. That ride is now celebrated every April 19th as Bicycle Day. Please do not attempt at home 🙏 #psychedelichistory #psychedelicacience #alicedee

this triple extracted Lions Mane tincture has added magic in the form of “Alice Dee”. say Alice Dee out loud and you’ll get it 😏🤫 both of these have a tonne of brain health benefits and they are neurological double edged sword. the finishing touch of this brain boosting morning routine is the drink i’m pouring this into: a cup of raw ceremonial grade cacao which is packed with theobromine and flavanols. drinking strong ceremonial cacao triggers a gentle but noticeable shift in brain activity. theobromine boosts blood flow to the brain, supporting clearer focus and a steady, calm alertness. flavanols help improve neurovascular function, while small amounts of caffeine contribute to mild stimulation. i also experience a lift in mood thanks to cacao’s influence on endorphin pathways. combined with the cognitive boost of the Lions Mane extract and the neuroplasticity of Alice Dee, its absolute magic. coffee is eating dust on this 😂 i drink this 2-3 times a week and depending on my mood and my to do list i add the Alice Dee ;) DM if you have any questions! #ceremonialcacao #brainboost #morningroutine
