It was such an amazing week full of insightful conversations and training from so many lovely people. Here’s a snippet of what my week looked like🫶🏾
Meet Shirley,
The Queen of Co-Ords, Bold Colours and Stand Out Patterns✨
If You Have Not Yet Seen Shirley On @netflixfilm , Go And Watch It! Learn About The Journey Of Shirley Chisholm As She Displays Her Love For People, For Equal Opportunity & Apparently For McDonalds👏🏾
My Favourite Costume Will Have To Be The Maxi Tunic Dress With The Hippie- Style Pattern, Because Who Knew Rainbows, Suns And Flowers Could Look So Presidential👌🏾

The Perfect Find (2023)
Costume Designer: Amit Gajwani @amitgajwani@netflix@tiawilliamswrites
Here are a few of my fav costumes!
1) Both Billie’s and Elodie’s (Jenna’s best friends) costumes were making sense throughout the whole film😍, but this shirt, skirt and glasses combo particularly stood out for me.
2) I am a hopeless romantic, so there’s just something about when a film couple are put in the same colours.
3) Again, same colours🥺and also with the costumes in this scene there is a greater sense of compatibility in the maturity of their styles, in comparison to the beginning of film; which to me indicates that they are now on the same page and are unified as one.
I also couldn’t ignore Jenna’s costume references to the 1920s👏🏾
Film: Premature (2019)
Genre: Romantic Drama
Costume Designer: @angelinascantlebury
This film reflects the complications that come with finding a deep connection with someone at a young age. The couples’ love was organic and their attraction to each other was effortless.
I loved how Isaiah’s t-shirts would be a colour that matched with an element of Ayanna’s top. It created a sense of oneness that didn’t feel forced, but intentional.
