Punk isn’t dead, but Nan is.
When young punk Johnny (Jude Pollitt) steals his nan’s urn for one last trip to the seaside, his Uncle Tommy (William Ilkley) arrives in reluctant pursuit.
Directed by Taylor Caddick (Coupon, The Bloke in the Boot), and co-written with Pollitt, the short marks a first for Sam Teale Productions, known for their emotive viral work (The Go-Kart).
Featuring Alex Lowe (Clinton Baptiste, Barry from Watford), Martina McClements (Coronation Street), Emma Nielsen, Charlie Richardson and Casper Gaunt.
Shot on location in Bradford and Whitby.

From next week, Bloke is yours. The boot is open to the public and available whenever you want it. Sort of like an unsanctioned car boot sale. No haggling please.
Thank you to all those who’ve said nice things so far. I’m off to go and delete my Letterboxd ready for Sunday…🚗
Out with the old, in with the new.
Huge thanks to @yellowbellyphoto for these swanky shots.

Hold the rhubarb. We’re off on tour.
So grateful to have been selected to tour venues around the country as part of a BFI-backed programme from Cine North. See us play before the likes of Olivia Coleman in ‘Wicked Little Letters’, as well as other great works.
Thank you to Cine North for making us rub our eyes (several times) to check this was real.
As always, we stand on the shoulders of the complete and utter heroes that made this film happen. We are nothing without our often-drenched cast and crew, who’s ridiculous persistence made this happen.
Mogg and Gaps forever.
Further dates to be announced soon.
