Two countries. One brand. One night. Join us on May 19th from 6–8 PM at The Canvas SoHo as we celebrate the launch of @lanabrandco : a label born from the friendship of two founders, one raised in Nigeria, the other in Egypt, and the shared memories they carried with them to the United States. Discover their collection in person, meet the founders, and experience a new perspective on luxury: one built on meaning, depth, and an unwavering commitment to quality. RSVP at the link in bio.

New episode of In Good Company 🎙️ @alex.chung down with @o.t.lana — founder of @lanabrandco , ex soccer player turned consultant turned brand owner. His first collection nearly sold out and the next drop is coming in April. We talked about the moment he bumped into @tinkahat in a Chicago hotel lobby and got the push to take the leap. How a random friendship turned into finding his co-founder, Omar, and the one person he wants to connect with next — @everette , CEO of @kickstarter . Your next big thing might start with the next person you meet! #networking #careerjourney #founders #fashion nyc

Jim Rohn is the father of Personal development and the most influential figure in the last hundred years when it comes to success, mindset and personal growth and one of my favorite quotes from Jim Rohn is that if you help enough people get what they want you could have everything that you want. Everybody is always thinking about themselves. They’re trying to think about how they can take from others and how they can get rich by extracting values. Everybody’s trying to be a taker and the way that I made my first million dollars is just by committing myself to be a giver I just said you know what I’m a try to do as many things as possible. I’m gonna try to give as much value as possible and I know that eventually it will come back to me now because I believe in a higher power I believe doing good deeds is going to benefit me. You know in the afterlife and so I try my best to always do the right thing and always do good things when I can and so when you think about it from a spiritual perspective, as well as from a business and financial perspective, it’s always more advantageous to be a giver rather than a taker and so I try to be a giver, and I wanna build my brand around becoming a platform because the most powerful thing that you can be is a launchpad for other people because if you become the one that people come to to get to the next level that you essentially are the catalyst for success at scale #themalikmonologues
