2025 was @Kickstarter ’s biggest year of all-time…but the job’s not finished.
Grateful for the journey thus far with 3 consecutive years of growth, but we still have a lot more work to do and impact to drive. Thank you to @entrepreneuer for the interview.
Wow… beyond honored to have @Kickstarter named @TIME 100 Most Influential Companies!
When I became CEO of @Kickstarter , one of my goals was to remind people how important and impactful this company truly is. Everyday we are helping people’s dreams come true across different industries and bring joy to people all over the world from the products and creative projects that they now get to enjoy/experience because of it.
The cultural impact is massive but so is the economic impact as well. We’ve had billion dollar companies created from Kickstarter, household brand names that people love and use everyday, and tons of jobs + wealth creation.
Not only that, I’m proud of how this company is leading the charge towards changing the future of work… from being the first major company to implement a four day work week… to the first major tech company with a wall-to-wall union. We are at the forefront of making the workplace a better place along with all the other impact we are making in the world. Also proud of the diversity we’re bringing in top to bottom, building one of the most diverse leadership teams and companies in tech.
Congrats to my team for all of their hard work and dedication, this recognition is happening because of them. Proud to work with you all.

Today I’m excited to announce a game-changing new partnership between @Kickstarter and @Tubi to support independent filmmakers around the world.
What do independent filmmakers need most? Funding and distribution.
Our new initiative FilmStream Collective in partnership with @Tubi will do both.
We will combine @Kickstarter ’s crowdfunding power with @Tubi ’s reach and commitment to breaking down barriers to Hollywood, and we’re offering creators what the traditional industry often can’t: financial backing and guaranteed distribution.
I’m excited to partner alongside @Tubi CEO Anjali Sud on this mission to continue to bring new incredible films to the world and give them the exposure they deserve.
Thank you to @Esquire Magazine for featuring me in their semi-annual “Big Black Book”
For those who may not know, @Kickstarter is fully remote globally (sorry Emma 😅) - so it’s given me the opportunity to be very creative about the way I work.
Also, more to come soon with the fashion category on @Kickstarter 😉

This week I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of “Is God Is” and all I can is wow.
Such an incredible film by @aleshea.harris with an amazing cast.
Much love to my friend @karaakter , you were phenomenal in this film - you are a shining star.
Also shoutout to my friend @erikaalexanderthegreat who absolutely stole the show, the movie is worth going to just for her scenes alone!
Please make sure you go and support this film IN THEATERS. Support black art, but more importantly support great art.
Big news 🚨‼️ @Kickstarter x @Google
I’m excited to share that @Kickstarter is partnering with @Google to launch the Next Wave Fund!
This initiative is designed to give the next generation of entrepreneurs the support they need to launch and grow.
In 2025, creators in our Design & Technology category raised more on Kickstarter than ever before.
We are continuing that momentum with our new fund with Google which will provide entrepreneurs/creators a $10,000 pledge to your live Kickstarter campaign, plus guidance and tools from Google and Kickstarter, and more.
If you’re an early-stage tech startup or small business building something bold across hardware, software, gaming, or connected technology — this is for you.
Authenticity has been the through line across my entire career.
No matter the role or the company - I’ve strived to be my most authentic self and I believe it’s been the trait that has allowed me to stand out the most in my career.
Please be sure to check out the full interview with the incredible @junesarpo on CultureConversations[dot]com
This week I was honored by the London Stock Exchange during the Market Closing Bell for all the impact that @Kickstarter is driving in the culture, the UK, and beyond.
I sat down for a 1:1 fireside conversation with the amazing (and very well dressed) Chief People Officer of the LSEG @ericabgram . We spoke about how at Kickstarter we are focused on growth while still keeping humanity at the center of everything we do.
We also premiered my episode of “Culture Conversations” where I was interviewed by the incomparable @JuneSarpo which dived into my personal journey as well as Kickstarter’s turnaround over the past few years.
The UK is Kickstarter’s second biggest market and continues to be a place we want to continue to support creators, entrepreneurs and more. Thank you the London Stock Exchange and their CEO David Schwimmer, I’m humbled by the honor.
This week I took the main stage at @Semafor World Economy Summit with the CEO of @Chime Chris Britt to discuss the pulse of consumer markets today.
Both companies are showing signs that consumer markets are on the upswing with @Kickstarter having another record breaking year (up 52% YoY in 2026 so far) and @Chime seeing 50+ card transactions from the average customer per month.
I spoke about how @Kickstarter is becoming much more than just a “crowdfunding” company and the positive signs we’re currently seeing in the business.
Excited what @Kickstarter and @Chime both do next, and I believe both companies will play a central role in the lives of creators and consumers.
Thank you to @Semafor for having us.
It’s a dream come true to be featured in the @NYTimes CEO Corner Officer column, and to be the youngest CEO ever to be included.
I’ve been reading this column for a decade plus featuring some of the top CEOs around the world, and many people I’ve admired in my career.
Being the CEO of @Kickstarter has been the hardest (emphasis on hardest) but most rewarding work of my career. The impact this company has is truly special and I’m grateful to be at the helm.
Running a fully remote company on a reduced work week while also trying to turn a company around that was in decline was less than ideal but… where there’s a will, there’s a way. And we made it happen.
All the hard work has paid off, and the company is having more success than ever. I’m thankful for the members of my team who are truly dedicated to the mission and our incredible community of creators and backers.
Last but not least, thank you to the wonderful @jojoholmey for taking the time to really get to know me and my perspective - you are a gem.
You can check out the full interview online or check out the story in today’s Sunday paper.
In the first episode of the series Super Niche Diaries, hosted by our founder Perri Dash, Taylor talks art, culture, and how taste is cumulative, shaped by repetition, restraint, and memory. It’s less about how quickly you move and more about whether you’re moving in alignment.
Here’s a clip from the series. Watch the full episode on Super Niche’s website. Link in bio.
A special thanks to Jack Shainman Gallery and Craig Starr for opening their gallery for this conversation.
