The age of 18 can be an uncertain time for anyone, no matter who you are. What advice would our King’s Trust Global Gala guests give their 18-year-old selves?
Their reflections remind us why supporting young people matters—especially at moments of uncertainty and possibility.
We’re grateful for their continued support as we help young people build the confidence and skills to live, learn, and earn. 🌟

Our fifth annual King’s Trust Global Gala in New York City was all the more special in the presence of our Royal Founding President, His Majesty the King, and Her Majesty the Queen on their visit to the United States.
Just as the United States marks its 250th anniversary, The King’s Trust celebrates its own special milestone in 2026: 50 years of working for young people. ❤️
His Majesty set out to establish The King’s Trust when he realized that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. His original vision is now a worldwide movement that is transforming young lives in more than 20 countries, including the United States.
During The King’s Trust - Greater Together Reception at the Global Gala, Their Majesties met with young people from Chicago, New York, Canada, and the United Kingdom to learn about their experiences taking part in The Trust’s programming and their aspirations for the future. ✨
We extend our deepest gratitude to @christiesinc for opening up their beautiful space for this event.
