Efa Supertramp and Killdren will be performing on the Thursday of @beardedtheoryfestival for @gail_somethingelse ’s Tea Tent stage on Bank Holiday Weekend ☕️ Very excited by all the friends we’ll be playing alongside on Something Else like @boomboomracoon @attilathestockbroker @steveprotest Jay @innerterrestrials @pogfolkpunk @roughneck_riot @joesolomusic and many more! But also phwoaaaaaar look at the line-up for all the other stages! This is going to be a good one! 🌿🎻

We’re playing Abertawe (Swansea) this Sunday for the @anarcha.folk.fest Cymru spring gathering 🌿 We are a wild-card non-folk act along with our buddies @scarebearsband 🃏- getting rowdy at the end of the night with some punk n rave! Get down early because it will be a truly lush day with radical folk music, speeches, stalls and a tasty vegan dinner at 6pm! Part of the day of solidarity for @all.eyes.on.masafer.yatta 🇵🇸🔥 Tickets are sliding scale from £0-18, pay what you can!

Only 2 weeks to go until our spring gathering at @elysiumswansea - we wanted to hype up our line-up consisting of some amazing activist folk musicians from south wales, and the acts of those of us who organised Anarcha Folk Fest Cymru! So far we’ve sold less than ten tickets for this event, so if you’re planning to come it would really raise our spirits if you bought an advance ticket - link in bio! If you’re skint there are donation-based options and if you’re comfy there’s also some solidarity options! The event is part of an international day of solidarity @all.eyes.on.masafer.yatta 🇵🇸🫒🕊️ Additionally we’re super pleased that kids are able to attend the event, under 16s must be with an adult. We also have some vegan food being cooked for dinner, bring some cash! 🧄 So… on to the acts (in order of photos) 🎸 @bordercholly all the way from Dublin, she coordinated volunteers at the festival! 🌿 @beggarsbuttons from mid-Wales, Hazel and Leo were the driving force behind the whole event and James was a super-duper practical hero during the festival! 🫒 It’s an honour to have oudmusic_resists as part of this event, a Cardiffian Palestinian his passion for Oud and the power of music is inspiring! We were sad he couldn’t make the festival but glad he’ll be with us in Swansea! 🪕 @allinvain666 will be travelling from Liverpool to join us, he was doing the very hard job of welfare during the event! 🧷 @efasupertramp another part of the core driving force to make the Cymru event happen, closing the open stage on the last day of the festival was amazing fun! 🪉Y Delynquent, a Swansea local starting the day off with a Welsh Rebel Song workshop and then performing later on. She makes an angelic instrument sound so rebellious! 🎵 cosmoguitar, one of the people who set up the original AFF in Netherlands! We can’t wait to have his anarchic folk spirit in Abertawe! 🤠Billie Dragg - Swansea’s newest and rowdiest anarcha folk act. Country crust for trans hooligans! ….. and the wildcard acts closing the night: 🧸 @scarebearsband the punk band of Meg who was part of the core crew! 🔪 @killdrenmusic rave-punk by Efa & Nick (who did all the boring legal paperwork!!)

UK and European circus and festival legends are joining forces to gather funds for the Buzz2borderz project. Buzz2borderz is not just a circus it’s a movement on wheels! Where entertainment meets impact. The Bus is currently being repaired and converted into a fully self-sufficient rolling humanitarian circus, with space for up to 9 artist/volunteers to live and travel, equipment for workshops and a small stage. The focus is to bring joy, laughter and play to displaced children and families throughout Europe with workshops, games and little shows. Buzz2borderz holds the vision that even in the hardest places, humanity shines brightest when we come together. Flying visit to Zagreb in Croatia thanks to an invitation for a lovely crew @reci_klaonica to celebrate the 15th birthday of their squatted slaughterhouse! 🏴‍☠️Huge respect to all the DIY crews creating and maintaining autonomous spaces like this, keeping DIY music and radical politics alive and kicking! We had a lot of fun, thanks to the crazy dancers singing along to our songs! 🔥

That was a super well organised benefit ⛓️‍💥 Probably our last gig for 2025… This year we’ve played less gigs but they have been better because of that 🔈 We’ve been lucky enough to play in Portugal, Basque Country, Germany and Netherlands this year but have only played 3 gigs in the UK! 😆

Olive pickers in Alentejo (portuguese state, west Iberia) in solidarity with Palestinians in the west bank and international comrades during the olive season. Another October links the roots of these trees to the roots of their mothers in Palestine. And another October where the violence against the Palestinians who pick them escalates without precedent. While in the Alentejo and across the Mediterranean this is a time where we gather with our friends, family and communities around these millennia-old trees, in Palestine, settlers and the colonial state's military harass and attack pickers, burn trees and restrict people's movement as just another cog in the ongoing, decades-long genocide Palestinians are facing. We send our solidarity and love and rage to our fellow olive pickers and our comrades that went to their harvest to support.
