Thank you @nick.ronin for the autumnal visuals and hardware support/encouragement for this project! The first @crux_av_london outside of London was a great success on a rainy Tuesday in Caerdydd, diolch o galon @thecanopicardiff for being such a lush space with community at its heart. 💖 Not sure when I'll do this again, but super glad to have braved into this world and looking forward to more! 🦄

The big day finally arrived 💍 Had so much fun filming a new @chwalaw_music video yesterday for our new single ‘DIM ARWYR’ (No Heroes) with my fellow Welsh queer punx @izrabes and @ceryshafana ✨ I CANNOT WAIT for y’all to see what we are making ❤️‍🔥 Hugest thanks to the coolest DOP @gabinorland for shooting such stunning footage, and Mark and @nick.ronin for being our crew for the day 🍂 Also extra big ups Izzy for directing whilst also being in the video - is there anything she can’t do? 🌈 The song will be released via @udishido at the beginning of March, alongside the video which was made possible thanks to @lwps4c and @pystpyst video fund 📼 Keep ur 👀 peeled for more info and teasers soon! 💋

Our spring reunion event at @elysiumswansea raised £521.92 for @all.eyes.on.masafer.yatta 🕊️🇵🇸 Swansea has a long history of solidarity with Palestine, so it was the perfect place to host this event and a wonderful day was had. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Diolch to everyone who came along and donated, performed, cooked food, helped do the door, ran a stall and to the amazing staff at Elysium for doing the tech and bar all day ☺️ To have most of the crew acts performing was lush @efasupertramp @allinvain666 @beggarsbuttons @scarebearsband @bordercholly @killdrenmusic , as well as some south wales legends like Y Delynquent, Billie Dragg, Cosmo and Oud Resists! We were sad @sage_against_the_routine couldn’t join us due to stupid Brexit rules ❤️‍🩹 We’re getting close to wrapping up Cymru’s 2025 edition, we’ll have a couple more posts then wave you “hwyl fawr” for now and await news of the next AFF! 🏴🎻🪉🪕🏴

It was sooo lush to win Best Documentary and for my amazingly talented friend @ceryshafana to win Best Composer straight after! 🪉 Thanks so much to @ambol1965 & @jade_viper_sticks from @thenanazband for coming along to support me, it was lush having a laugh and celebrating with these amazing ladies! 🥂 Thanks also to @itsmyshoutltd and @hanshs4c for letting me make this documentary my own way with a sprinkle of chaos & impulsivity🔥 I’m proud of the documentary but I’m even prouder of The Nanaz for taking every opportunity thrown at them since the project started - they are off to play New York next month (head to their page to buy merch or support their crowdfunder to get there) AND they’re playing one of the biggest punk festivals in Europe @rebellionfestival 🧷 Of course they’ll still play every single dingy basement along the way, but I know they are just getting started! I did not expect this and had not prepared a speech and had almost no voice to make one!! Diolch @itsmyshoutawards for the award of ‘Best Documentary’ 🏆 Thank you @cultofdoris for coming up with the Nana Punk workshops concept and being the star of the documentary, thank you @thenanazband for carrying the torch and showing the world that so-called ‘older’ women are full of fire and punk spirit, thanks to everyone who worked on the documentary in all departments and thanks @hanshs4c @s4c @itsmyshoutltd for commissioning the documentary as it was a story the world needed to hear! I keep lying to myself that I’ll do less stuff and focus on my OT studies but hey we all need meaningful occupations and occupational balance, so I keep playing and organising gigs! Let’s go 🔥 🌿 This Saturday April 11th at @elysiumswansea it’s the @anarcha.folk.fest Cymru Spring Reunion which I’m organising as well as playing solo and as Killdren! (Stage times on third slide, get down early!) Come to Abertawe for an all-dayer from 2pm, it will be wonderful! 🎬 Looking forward to the @itsmyshoutltd awards on Sunday where ‘Nana Punk’ has been nominated for Best Documentary! 🇮🇪 Next weekend April 18th at @theateneocentrebelfast a last minute Killdren gig as I’m tagging along with @nick.ronin who’s doing a fancy arty farty thing with his @forcemajeureaudio project! First time in Belfast, thanks to @them_uns 🎛️ We didn’t get funding to do a big @crux_av_london festival this year so we’re doing it DIY on Saturday April 25th at @reinstate_project in London and I’m so excited for all the audio-visual delights and workshops we have lined up! 🏴 So excited to be organising a Pasta Now X Afiach matinee show on May 3rd (bank holiday sunday) at @paradisegardencdf Caerdydd for the amazing indigenous punk bank @half.time.half.caste from Aotearoa!
