Last Thursday, May 7th, Sonoma County locals along with culinary stars like Dustin Valette and Charlie Palmer and some of pop culture’s biggest names such as Mario Lopez and Carmen Electra celebrated the 28,000-square-foot restaurant expansion of Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park. The evening sparkled with the debut of AYA, the rooftop restaurant from celebrity chef Roy Ellamar. The $40 million design by David Rockwell was quite stunning and matched the Sonoma Sophisticated vibe of the crowd. Guests savored exquisite wines from @schramsberg @aperturecellars @kostabrownewinery @williamsselyemwinery , gourmet appetizers, and a lavish seafood bar, all while soaking in sweeping springtime views of the Sonoma County mountains from the restaurant’s deck. For me, wine has always been about conversation rather than consumption, and I’m truly honored to have been a part of this one. Last Friday’s Epic Fundraiser/25th Anniversary Screening with Cameron Crowe and Ben Fong Torres and Rock & Roll themed dinner would not of happened if it weren’t for these two amazing women: Anais Smith, my friend and @thesaltpr public relations executive, The Love of Cameron Crowe’s Life, and the person who introduced him to Healdsburg and @healdsburgwineandfood got him to agree to do this event. Kristen Green, our PR Executive got Ben Fong Torres to agree and personally escorted him there. Thank you Anais and Kristen. It was really special, raised money for a great cause and once again put the spotlight on Healdsburg.

Thank you Chef Mike and team for an exceptionally delicious morning. Cavallo Point delights with a spectacular view and the cuisine is consistently outstanding. When the colors and beauty of a special place match the magic in the sky. ❤️

We were proud to have teamed up with @mmclay_ceramics and chef @nico_9123 for an intimate dinner in San Francisco this past weekend. A night filled with great food, laughter, & beautiful pottery. AIt was a gentle reminder why we love what we do. We use Mary Mar’s ceramics every day at home, and they’re also found at some of our favorite restaurants including @TheProgress_SF , @SlantedDoor , @A16SF , and @SingleThreadFarms . At the end of the evening, each guest received a small gift bag with a dried flower corsage from our estate property. @melpea07 grew, dried, and bundled them by hand as a gesture of gratitude and connection to our land. A huge thanks to everyone who joined us, and to Katie of @FlanneryBeef for making a special appearance as her spectacular beef was served. For my taste, Flannery is the best purveyor of beef in the United States! And a late addition sadly having missed the tag! , a huge shout out to the spectacular @findjasperr who took time from@his day and night to take these@incredible pictures!
