Just living my skating dreams 🌞 I’m excited because I’ve been feeling really good about skating lately 🥲 I feel like I stepped up onto the next level of my own personal skating journey🥲 my flow is feeling flowier ~ if you can understand ~ it’s interesting to me that I still am as obsessed w skating as I was in the beginning lol if not more!! It never gets boring & only gets better!! I always dreamed of swirling around seamlessly to any song I want and I really feel like I can feel that a lot lately, but it’s even better than I imagined😍 and there is stilll soo much more to learn!!!! I’m just like super pumped. What an amazing experience this is….. you should definitely start skating & keep skating & keep believing in yourself!! You can literally do anything you set your mind to.
ME…….SKATING LIKE THIS????? My 8 year skating anniversary was on March 23! 8 years?? younger me would not believe this. Committing to skating was and is the best decision I’ve ever made. I am so beyond grateful for what these skates have done for me & I plan to do this for as long as humanly possible ✨ so ya thanks for your time ~ just sharing the thoughts in my head and my heart

So singing karaoke is like really emotional for me. 😅 & it’s been a whileeee since the last time I did it. And I wasn’t going to go because of that reason. But then I was like WTF???? I have to do this for my family legacy lol… so I put in 2 SONGS… this song was the 2nd option I put in. I always just add it to the list because it’s my grandmas favorite.
I totally was not expecting to do this one. & right when it came on I was like OK GRANDMA I HEAR YOU ~~~~~~ let’s do ittt. so I got up there and went to that place and it was SOOO SPECIAL ~ being in Key West with my friends and all of these new stranger friends, being emotionally nervous but GOING UP ANYWAY. And woweeee this felt good. My grandparents energy was totally there and I was so happy and shaky afterwards!! I love this song & singing it for people & taking everyone with me to THAT PLACE of sweet sweet serenity. Thank you @jasonskates for capturing this awesome video. It really reminds me that during challenging seasons, we still have the power to be joyful & have fun in the sun! I’ve been dealing with some mental rollercoasters recently & it’s just an interesting time to be a human on earth right now? but as I go through this, I am SOOOOO GRATEFULLLLLLLLLLLL that I have these skates (and a 🔥 soundtrack to my life). I feel 100% full of magic goodness any time I’m on wheels. ✨
but I wanna say, don’t stop learning, don’t stop asking questions, LISTEN, keep having compassion for people ~ all people whether they look different than you, act different than you, come from a different place than you or have different thoughts or opinions than you. Everyone has the right to do & feel & be whatever they want. Don’t try to control other people ~ you can only control yourself. My entire mindset has shifted as I’ve grown older. So many things have changed. I found myself super worrying about how fast time is going by, am I following my dreams? What even are my dreams these days? What is important to me, what isn’t important to me? How can I make an impact? Do I even have to make an impact? What even is a REAL impact? How are we supposed to exist in 2026? Why can’t we just have fun & relax & make things & eat good food & live in peace? Why do people have to waste their life working all day long every single day doing something they don’t love for half of their life? OR MORE THAN HALF. I can’t help but feel it shouldn’t have to be like this. I don’t think we were created to live under crumbling pressure to keep up? With what????

Anyway, life is so complex & everyone is going through something whether you know about it or not. Have compassion & patience for others (& YOURSELF), be kind & keep trying to find the joy in every moment. Don’t be a hater, we are all humans just trying to have a good time 🌍✨

Hi friends! I just remembered I can skate in my garage!! This is gr8 news 😍
I wanted to share this with you if you’re looking for a fun challenge to practice on skates! I was originally inspired to learn this move by @sidnthesun !! She made it look so groovy & easy… (at first it was not easy) so it became my hyper focus & now it is one of my favorite KEY TOOLS in my skating tool box. I don’t think there is an official name for it, but I call it a Fancy Toe turn lol I think of it less as a “trick” & more as a foundational tool to tie together your skating.
This can be done so many different ways, in this video we start in place, working our way to a 180 degree turn, then to a transition ~ BUT after that it also turns into a full fancy toe spin! There is so much you can do with this turn! (Will be easier with a smaller harder wheel & more challenging w a bigger gummier wheel)
