Who knew what was in store for me at 4 years old in skating… It seems like my family did. I actually remember gaining my self awareness when I was at the rink. I still remember the smell of the rink when I was four. I remember the song I heard when I walked into the rink for the first time. I see this story in such a beautiful way. My belief is that all of these stages unfolded exactly the way they were meant to. To open my never-full heart to a space where I feel free. Where I have learned good and bad things. Always supported by my family to see the bigger picture no matter how long it takes to paint. My mural expands wide to heaven, and until I reach my destination I will continue to paint. I am proud of myself. I am proud of my heart to love unconditionally. I am grateful for my family. I will forever cherish skating. And I am so honored to have experienced this journey of 16 years. 🤍🌟
