One of the most meaningful campaign projects I’ve had the honor of directing: celebrating the incredible 50-year legacy of @roycenewyork . For half a century, they’ve been crafting memories for families and communities, and bringing their story to life was truly inspiring.
Thank you, @djiun , for trusting me with this vision and for your unwavering collaboration and insane creativity throughout. A special thanks to @willbauernyc and @kbroyce for not only trusting us but for bringing such authenticity and warmth as on-camera talent and hosts.
Here’s to 50 years of craftsmanship and connection—and to many more ahead.

Opening this month at @riverfrontmuseum an exhibition curated by Seth Kaller and Ken Burns an intimate archive of letters, books, and original documents that asks a simple, urgent question: what does liberty really mean?
It’s been a privilege getting to know Seth his mind is a map of the in-between history we rarely get taught. On the table: MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech marked with his own notes, letters from George Washington to his advisors, speeches that vanished from the spotlight, Frederick Douglass essays, and so much more each piece a reminder that freedom is not abstract. It’s made, argued for, protected, and reimagined.

More to come.
Just forever a collector of moments. A few that I saved in my archive this week. Let’s call this Feelings Issue 001

Since this first print popping back up lately has motivated me to set up online shop again for the first time in awhile, just in time for Thanksgiving week, I’ve decided to donate the proceeds for the rest of November to @bowerymission to support New Yorkers facing hunger and hardship right now.
New York has given me a place to create, a community that shaped my voice, and a sense of purpose bigger than myself. Being of service to this city has always mattered to me. It means using what I make my work, my art, my time to give back to the community that allows me to create in the first place.
And if you don’t want a print but simply want to contribute, they are excepting donation on their website, and is linked above. Even a few dollars helps someone feel seen, fed, and cared for this season.
If you’re not from New York, your support, in any form, ripples outward, I promise.
This city is built on collective care, and so are we.
Thank you in advance, Kat x
While I don’t photograph that much anymore focusing more on producing and directing, photography was my first born and here is some past work that I love and needed some extra love, heavy on the retouch👀 - retouching is half the job of a photographer, no one talks about. If you have a campaign coming up and want me to produce, or creative consult DM.
