Another beautiful exhibition full of joy has opened in our Galleria 360!
Laura & Rudi Merz
FAVOURITE THINGS
Favorite Things is a joint exhibition by visual artist Laura Merz and carpenter Rudi Merz. The exhibition features works created using their favourite techniques and favorite subjects.
Father and daughter -duo has often worked together in recent years, creating participatory artworks and wooden sculptures for public spaces, among other things. Laura’s animal-themed ink paintings are inspired by her childhood memories of animals and her travels as an adult: an artist residency in Mongolia, horseback riding in nature parks, and safaris in West Africa.
Rudi’s works include for example self assembly chairs that sold out from our summer exhibition 2024. There is also a wide selection of small wooden objects made with love and exceptional craftsmanship from materials such as apple wood from Lohja.
The participatory exhibition invites everyone to join in and play. You can create your own wooden sculptures on the pedestals. We urge people of all ages to gift yourself a moment of play and pure joy!

12 X LOVE
Delicacy, tenderness, joy, sorrow, comfort, loss – love takes many forms. In the pop-up exhibition by the members of Onoma, the diversity of love is materialized in works created using a variety of techniques.
The 12 artists participating in the exhibition each bring their own interpretation of one aspect of love.
The works in the exhibition are a collection of parallel experiences that may be contradictory. The works deal with love both up close and from a distance, as an intimate and physical experience, but also as a conceptual, social, and idealistic one.
The exhibition takes a critical look at the worn-out, clichéd concept of love and aesthetics created by capitalism and entertainment culture.
