9/6/15 I dropped anchor in Nashville, TN to manage a guy named Luke. I had no idea what I was doing, other than “taking the music to the fans”… I’d argue that 7 years later my strategy hasn’t changed one bit. I woke up today feeling grateful, humbled, and thankful. Grateful for the team that surrounds me (Sophia, Clinton, Jarrod, Walker, Tyler, Alicia, Randi, Dylan, Darby, Alexis, Eric, Tanner, HB, Haley J, Haley K, Liz, Mallary, Sayre, Julia, & Kennedy). Humbled by the fact this award is voted on by my peers and the slate of nominees I was honored to be on. Thankful for the artists that let our team lead yours. To take your passion, creativity and art to millions of people everyday in either shows or through your phone, this is the greatest job in the world. Lastly, to the many friends in my industry that have become my confidants, my pillars, and my cheerleaders. There are times you let me lead. There are times we walk shoulder to shoulder as equals and there are times you show me the best way for me to support you and let you take that lead. I have grown so much as a manager, as a leader, but mostly as a man… a human. Congrats to Jerry (Production Manager), Hutch (Video Director), and Zues (Monitor Engineer) on your CMA Touring Awards, too. To Ethan and the entire LC touring crew, you are amazing people, who have been thrown some of the craziest curve balls I have ever seen, and hit all of them. The book that will be written one day will be a best seller in perseverance and kindness. To Hughes, Harp, Rob & Tannenbaum, the friendships we have now are some of the most cherished moments I have. To Bradley Jordan, the guy who called me and said “I got your guy, his name is Luke Combs” and convinced me to move from California to Nashville, thank you! You saw something in me and you didn’t let me say no. To my Mom, brother, sister in law & nieces, thank you for raising me the right way. Being hard when you needed to be, loving always, and creating a life where dreaming is encouraged. Lastly to Luke… thank you. Thank you for trusting me when you had no reason to, for giving me my dream job, but mostly for believing that this “old guy” could do this! I Love you all!

I know this is extremely boring content… but for a guy who use to kill anything green, to now I find plants that are dying at HD or L and bring them back to life, is very satisfying. This little guy is budding up and I can’t wait to see how he fills out. #PlantLover 🪴

Congrats to @nikomoon and team in a huge release of your new album “Better Days!” There is so much hope and positivity in this and starting the @happycowboyfoundation to help with mental health issues and care. I can’t wait to see what’s next. #independentartist

You played clubs in France to stadiums in Vancouver. You played doubles and in the rounds. You changed so many time zones I lost count and you overcame some unreal challenges. You brought country music and joy to people who never thought they’d see it. You sacrificed your time, your family, and your life to say “Yeah, let’s go around the WORLD and give people an escape from life for a little while!” AND YOU ALL DID IT WITH GRACE AND PROFESSIONALISM!
