Kanvas Studios 2.0 is a premium 262 sqm daylight and blackout photography and videography studio, content and event space, located in the heart of Alexandria, Sydney. Thoughtfully designed to accommodate productions of all scales, the studio combines architectural sophistication with versatile, elevated spaces.
Featuring a large 6.5m × 5.8m Cyclorama Wall, soaring 5 metre ceilings, and polished concrete flooring, the space is filled with natural light from expansive floor-to-ceiling windows spanning 16m and 14m. Sheer and Beige blackout curtains provide precise lighting control and can also serve as elegant backdrops.
The studio offers a curated collection of architectural backdrops, including a White French Panel Wall and a White Textured Arched Nook Wall. Our two double-sided movable walls provide four distinct finishes: Industrial Concrete Wash, Dark Walnut Woodgrain, Chrome and Minimal Plain White. Two Beige Textured Arch and Curve Change Rooms offer flexible configurations for both talent prep and shooting backgrounds. A curated selection of Designer Furniture and Props enhances styling across fashion, commercial, or lifestyle setups.
Fully equipped to support seamless production workflows, the studio includes essential Photography Equipment, Styling Equipment, large Hair and Makeup Station, a Kitchen, Dining and Break Area, and a Private Bathroom. The Overlook Mezzanine, finished with dark wooden floorboards that can also serve as a shooting area, provides a refined vantage point for creative direction, client hosting, and overhead captures.
The space also functions as a versatile event venue, perfect for brand launches, PR events, workshops or intimate gatherings in a light-filled, design-led environment. Three secure On-Site Parking Spaces at the entrance ensure convenient access for crew, talent, and guests.

Kanvas Studios 2.0 is now soft launching, and we’re so excited to finally share the new space with you all. It’s been such a journey bringing this studio to life, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the love and support from our amazing community along the way. 🤍 We’re also so thankful to already be accommodating bookings this week through to the weekend, with June bookings already coming through as well.
Our new website officially launches next Monday the 11th of May, and to celebrate we’re offering 20% off all available May bookings in the new studio from 11th to 31st of May.
