Our Victorian team has successfully completed the VCAT accommodation fitout at 308 La Trobe Street for Court Services Victoria, delivering modern, fit-for-purpose spaces across 10 levels in Melbourne’s CBD.
The project involved the transformation of warm and cold shell spaces into hearing rooms, mediation areas, offices and shared facilities, all delivered through a carefully staged approach to minimise disruption within the building.
Sustainability was front of mind, with initiatives supporting reduced carbon emissions, improved energy performance and enhanced end-of-trip facilities for building users. First Nations design elements, including art, artefacts and language, are integrated throughout the project in collaboration with the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation.
Located within a highly connected precinct, the completed facility provides improved access to essential tribunal services for staff and visitors alike. The venue will be officially operating from late March and further details about services and operations can be found on the VCAT website.
