A moment for the dessert table 🥹🥹🥹. I always told myself I would never make my own wedding cake - that it would be way too much. So instead I made two cakes, two trifles and god knows how many canele. I am so obsessed with this table and couldn’t imagine it any other way! Lucky for me I have pastry angels in my life that put all the final sprinkles on everything 👩🏼🍳👨🏼🍳
Cake #1 - carrot cake with brown butter whipped cream frosting with salted caramel and candied pecans, topped with flowers from @cathywayne garden
Cake #2 - coconut chocolate chip cake filled with toasted coconut pudding and vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream
Trifle #1 - corn cake + lemon curd + blueberry compote + cheesecake pudding + whipped cream
Trifle #2 - strawberry rhubarb compote + vanilla sponge + vanilla pudding + whipped cream
