I also bedazzled my pill container, painted a sculpture, gardened, and spray painted my garden friends ✨
Oh also there’s a new leaf on my monstera and our dog is an angel bb…grateful for this weekend and all the good things in my life✨
Two years ago @kaileycatkinson had made up her mind that the following spring she would apply to grad school and pursue her master’s degree. After a lengthy search for programs that would challenge her and also work with her teaching schedule, we found the newly launched program at @clark_mfa . She scheduled a portfolio review with the program director @sloatie and instead of waiting a year, we both agreed she should jump on it.
These last two years have grown her in ways that I can’t really explain to you. She’s more confident, has more drive, insight, and is ever more aware of what her work says and means to others. She’s had incredible mentors, @beautifulpossibility and @nestorarmandogil to name a few.
This morning, in a wave of panic and relief she mailed her thesis out for review. It wasn’t the sunny-day in front of the historic post office in downtown Easton that she wanted, but we celebrated with a midday pizza party for two.
Needless to say I am incredibly proud of her and if you see her you should let her know how awesome she is.
