TUESDAY, MAY 12
5:30-7:00pm
Peer Artist Critique with artist Emma Ryan
LUAG Main Galleries (inside Zoellner Arts Center)
Are you a visual artist seeking feedback on your work, in a supportive and collaborative environment? This informal gathering invites local artists at any level to share works in progress, recent projects, artist statements, or developing ideas in a welcoming, dialogue-based session.
The session will begin with a brief, guided critique activity to break the ice and establish shared conversation norms before moving into participant work. Artists are encouraged to speak about their process and goals, with peers offering reflections intended to support growth and clarity. Together, you'll practice close looking, thoughtful questioning, and constructive feedback.
To ensure meaningful discussion and ample time for each participant, space is limited to 15 artists. Advance registration is required at LUAG.org/events.
Whether you are seeking feedback on a current project or hoping to strengthen your critique skills, this workshop offers an opportunity to connect, reflect, and grow within a creative community.
If you require assistance filling out the RSVP form or have questions, concerns, or any accessibility needs, please email Elise at
