Their generous support led to incredible highs of excitement, stress, doubt, and pride, lots of discussions and tireless fine-tuning (even a reshoot!), postponements, anxiety, a World Premiere at one of only a handful of Oscar-qualifying festivals in Canada (and the first to believe in our film – @festivalregard ), a memorable screening in our hometown for the coolest genre festival in the world @fantasiafestival , a couple other trips and awards, the company of new friends, and the best short film of 2025 according to @filmshortage A never-ending THANK YOU to those who made it possible and those who watched it. It was truly our privilege, we can’t wait to do it all again. (Link to the film in bio.) --- Il y a 3 ans, jour pour jour, plus de 160 personnes nous ont fait confiance en faisant don de milliers de dollars ardemment gagnés. Leur généreux soutien a suscité chez nous des montagnes russes d’excitation, de stress, de doute et de fierté, un paquet de discussions et d’ajustements sans fin (y compris le re-tournage d’une scène), des décalages, de l’anxiété, une première mondiale dans un des quelques festivals canadiens qualifiant pour les Oscar (et le premier à croire en notre film – @festivalregard ), une projection mémorable chez nous à Montréal pour le plus cool festival de films de genre du monde – @fantasiafestival , une couple d’autres voyages et prix, de nouveaux amis et le meilleur court-métrage de 2025 selon @filmshortage Un incommensurable MERCI à toutes celles et ceux qui ont rendu cela possible et qui ont regardé le film.
