Meet Adelin, a director, colorist, and film school instructor whose YouTube channel has long been the hub for his tutorials and technical deep dives.
His LUMIX journey started with the G7, which he found to be the best value Micro Four Thirds body on the market at the time. He moved on to the GH5, then the GH5S, a real step forward for cinema-minded shooters thanks to its Dual Native ISO and DCI 4K 60p recording. More recently, he has been shooting series work on the LUMIX S1II, with results that rival far more expensive rentals once they hit the grade.
What keeps him with LUMIX is the combination of deep specs and serious color science. V-Log gave him the latitude he needed, and now ARRI LogC3 support, available on the S1II via the DMW-SFU3A Upgrade Software Key, takes things further. Officially certified by ARRI, it lets LUMIX footage color match cleanly with ARRI digital cinema cameras in post. For a colorist, that compatibility is a game changer.
