It was with the greatest smile that I edited the culmination of your 10 days of training done in the span of 10 weeks. DEATHLY WORKSHOP is a mini action clip shot without rehearsal in half an hour and only 4 times without cutting the cameras after being given 3 instructions. The goal was to check if the students understood the technical aspects of: - Timing & consistency for editing and continuity - Situational awareness and using the environment - Proper direction of reactions in response to gunshot - Proper timing of reaction - Proper impact absorption and landing while staying in character - Proper performance from start to finish -Adaptability when it comes to errors on set (stay in character and keep going till we call CUT) Action On Camera Level 2 is very demanding both physically & mentally, especially after the first half hour body conditioning and HIIT. Everyone did way better than I expected and performed above expectations. Congrats everyone, you all did an amazing job!! More fun to come as you all know! Thank you for the trust you put in my teachings as well as allowing me to learn from you all. Many things define who we are from a very young age. For me, one of those defining moments was watching the late Bruce Lee performing, being mesmerized by @jackiechan doubling Bruce Lee as a stunt performer, and being inspired by Daniel LaRousso ( @ralph_macchio ) and Mr. Miyagi (the late Pat Morita) in the Karate Kid movies. Never did I think that one day I’d be sharing the screen with two of my heroes of the time, hence my five year old smile on the pictures. And to top it off, what can be better than Jackie Chan coming to ask me if I’m okay after I performed my stunt in front of him? As a stunt performer, the little kid in me couldn’t help but be in disbelief in that moment 😁 Than you to the stunt team for trusting me on that show and for blessing me with such an unforgettable opportunity. It was a great cast, a great team and a great project for the little kids in us to work and play on.🙏🏾👊🏾 ————————————————————————————— Beaucoup de choses définissent qui nous sommes dès notre plus jeune âge. Pour moi, l’un de ces moments marquants a été de voir le regretté Bruce Lee sur scène, d’être fasciné par @jackiechan doublant Bruce Lee en tant que cascadeur, et d’être inspiré par Daniel LaRousso (@ralph_macchio ) et M. En tant que cascadeur, l’enfant en moi n’a pu s’empêcher d’être incrédule à ce moment-là 😁 Merci à l’équipe de cascades de m’avoir fait confiance pour sur ce projet, et de m’avoir offert une opportunité aussi inoubliable. C’était un casting formidable, une équipe formidable et un projet formidable sur lequel les petits enfants en nous pouvaient travailler et jouer. 🙏🏾👊🏾

Action On Camera Masterclass - Group 1 In the last half hour of Sunday’s training, we made and performed a little 5 beat choreo to compile everything learned about timing, distance, control, speed and basic reactions not more than 1 take per person. Everyone did great, especially compared to the different starting points of each individual. Thank you for the trust and for your dedication everyone.
