Pre-Order Now: Something Very Bad is Going to Happen 🩸
From the minds behind Stranger Things, Something Very Bad is Going to Happen is the chilling new 2026 Netflix horror series created by Haley Z. Boston. Centered around a wedding that slowly descends into dread, the story follows Rachel and Nicky as their dream ceremony in a secluded snowy forest begins to unravel into something far more sinister…
The score is composed by Grammy Award-winner Colin Stetson, known for his haunting, experimental sound and work on Hereditary, The Menu, and Red Dead Redemption 2. His signature use of saxophone and tension-building sound design creates a deeply unsettling atmosphere that perfectly matches the series’ creeping sense of paranoia and fear. 🎶
This exclusive vinyl edition is limited to just 300 individually numbered copies and pressed on striking ‘Tie-and-Dye’ red and black swirled vinyl. Housed with an insert, it’s a must-have collector’s item for horror fans and soundtrack enthusiasts alike. ✨
Secure your copy now… before something very bad happens. 👀

So very excited to share this trailer for SOMETHING VERY BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN. And thrilled to hear they used the Paul Anka song “You Are My Destiny” in it @acid_mx . When I had my interview for this job after reading the first 2 scripts I mentioned this song, as something I thought might work for the series. More often than not you have ideas throughout the process that never make it to the finish line, so it is such a thrill that this song has stuck and plays such a role in the series! Check it out on Netflix March 26th ! @swampmonstr@hilaryleavitt@finrye@colinstetson@weronikatofilska
I think one of the times I’ve been truly star struck was meeting Bud Cort, the first time I merely just saw him at a party at @pameladesbarres house. The second time I actually met him, when @chloessevigny was staying in these magical apartments in silver lake - where he also had an apt.
I’ve been seeing all the beautiful tributes pouring in here and realized I can’t even think of Harold and Maude without getting teary, it’s one of the most moving films ever made, and after having an onslaught of evil vile people in power doing evil vile things on our feed 24/7 - being reminded of this beautiful film , that is a shining example of beauty love and connection we all are capable of on our short trip on this beautiful planet couldn’t be more needed right now.
It’s also the first example of how much impact songs can make in a film - something all of us who have seen it certainly are aware of. I can’t think of the movie without humming @yusufcatstevens “Trouble”
RIP Bud Cort
Loved chatting with Johnny Payne and James about punk, hair metal grunge and where we’re at with rock n roll right now….
