On March 11th, my latest film “WEAZY” presented by
@arcteryx was finally released.
Marking the end of a crazy adventure that stared almost two years ago, when my friend
@weazydavis reached out to me with the intention of showing a little bit more about his perception and use of the mountains.
Long story short, I was captivated by Craig’s upbringing, achievements and ethics, like anyone that crosses his path, does.
I wanted to capture the essence of growing up with siblings,community, hard work, dedication, and his unique vision of what mountains can offer.
I’ve scratched my head more times that I can remember trying to squeeze everything Craig is up to in a year, in a 15-20min format film, the truth is, I don’t think it would fit.
This film is a version of it, but could take so many different forms.
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the third member of the trio,
@tom_granier , who produced this film with the help of Craig, trusted me with his credit card and supported us from start to finish
We went kiwi-mode most of the time to make it all work, and create the best opportunities we could.
France, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, Alaska, New-Zealand, so many incredible places I’ve always dreamed on discovering growing up, so many beautiful humans met along the way, helping us, letting us crash on their floor, giving us discounts, or hosting us for free.
This film was driven by so many different people that believed in the project and that’s what I will remember the most from it.
I will post more behind the scenes and full credits the next few days, but for now, that’s enough chit-chat, enjoy Weazy if you haven’t aleready :)
