B58 Strikes Again This one isn’t your standard B58. This has a full Stage 3 Hybrid Setup The result of this was 640WHP, using @mslperformance conversion factors we end up at 770BHP Tuned via @mhd.tuning Stage 3 Build includes: - Complete Stock Unopened B58 - Daw 6769 @dynamicautowerx - Dorch DS25 HPFP @dorch_engineering - Osprey Front Mount Intake @osprey_performance - Cooling Mist Port Methanol Kit @coolingmistuk - DO88 Intel Manifold @do88performance - Midnight Developments 3.5 inch Exhaust @midnightdevelopments - HP70 Gearbox Swap / @sutphintuning Gearbox Map - @dcautoperformance for all mechanical work & fitting to the vehicle - @vogue.automotive for supplying the vehicle This has been an amazing project to work on, using the correct modifications we’ve ended up with a car making great power but also extremely drivable and consistent. It also shows again how good of a platform the B58 is as long as they are looked after. This car gets the oil and filter changed every 6 to 8 weeks and has had no issues over the past 10,000 miles while running this setup bar the original gearbox slipping. The car has achieved an amazing 9.88 1/4 mile time while being on the original open diff and still being an all round great daily driver. Next things to add will be Port Injection along with a LPFP upgrade, this will allow us to run without the port methanol if we choose too.

A few S55’s have been flying through recently & this is one of our previous customers new cars! Vehicle had diagnostic and logging session before tuning to ensure vehicles health. Customer fitted a high flow downpipes for more noise so wanted to get the car setup to prevent overboost which can occur. Unfortunately the infamous Crank Hub upgrade has not been done on this vehicle so after discussion with the customer we chose not to push the vehicle in order to minimise the risk of slip. Reliability while tuning is one of our top priorities. BMW M140i Stage 2+, Meth Injection, E50 Blend ECU & TCU Standard Figures - 335BHP Tuned Figures - 578BHP Tuned Via @protuningfreaks The B58 is one of our favourite engines, it offers great value for money when it comes to performance. Paired with the ZF8 gearbox it offers a great package which many people enjoy. We’ve tuned a good variety of them now and have a good idea of what power to expect on different setups. Every so often though you always get one car which shocks even us! Customer came all the way from Lancaster! We did this end of 2024 and was a pleasure! We had previously tuned this car at a Stage 2+ level with high flow downpipe and TU fuel pump but the customer wanted to push the stock turbo so we suggested the use of better fuel’s along with a further uprated fuel pump and a methanol injection kit. He fitted a Spool FX400 fuel pump and AEM methanol injection kit. Both of these things allowed us to push the stock turbo pretty much to its limits. The fuel pump allowed for an E50 blend of fuel with no rail pressure drop and the methanol helped keep the charge temps at bay. The result of this was 490WHP, using @mslperformance conversation factors we end up at 578BHP. Thankyou to @mslperformance for allowing us to use the dyno to be able to tune this to perfection. Audi TTS (EA888) Stage 1 ECU and TCU✅ Standard Figures - 300BHP Tuned Figures - 368BHP This is another one from the archives we did a while back, beautiful car owned by our friend Tim. Props to Tim as he always keeps his cars immaculate and maintained superbly. We tuned both ECU and TCU on this to ensure the best possible driving experience and characterisation were available from the car. Tim later also fitted an uprated intercooler to the car, this is not something that is necessarily needed but made the car a lot more consistent especially in summer being able to manage its intake air temps better.
